Consequences
As I watch you cradled in someone else's embrace, I'm torn between relief and anguish.
Relief, perhaps, that you've found solace elsewhere, yet tormented by the knowledge that his touch lacks the tenderness you once found in mine.
It's a bitter pill to swallow, witnessing your smile dim under the weight of his indifference, but I guess that's how it works with choices— consequences.
