Harsh rainy days, are someones favorite days, but for others its something they dont quite enjoy. You can usually tell by how the person acts. Usually one will sit next to their window to watch the view, and enjoy it while they do a specific hobby they like. While others that dislike it, might stay away from the places its seen, or hide under a blanket and listen to music of some sort.
Well today was one of those harsh rainy days, and sadly Kira was stuck in someones house. She didn't quite like this since it was in a location she didnt quite know well. In a country thats unfamiliar to her, Canada. Someone was there with her luckily. But their connection used to be close, they used to have a bond. The boy used to have something for her, maybe he still does. She doesn't know, she's confused herself. However maybe something would change this night, something might spark in their relationship, it might grow or worsen.
Kira was sitting on his bed, she got permission to by him, luckily. She looked at the window worried. She didn't like this harsh rain. She pointed back to climate change being the cause of this sudden harsh rain. She was super enthusiastic about climate change and fixing the problems the previous generation with this one is causing. If someone got her to express herself, she would argue for hours about why its bad no matter what the circumstance was.
The boy got on the bed, he looked at the distressed girl in confusion.
"Does the rain scare you?" The boy asked with a gentle tone. He sat down not next to her but not too far.
"I'm scared of thunderstorms and harsh rain as well. I hate that climate change is affecting how bad it pours outside." She crossed her arms gently and then held the blanket with the tip of her finger for comfort. Matt looked at her hands and gently went out to hold it with his full hand. He covered her hand.
"It will be fine, dont draw back everything to climate change, when the little scientist in you didn't fully research this." He smiled at her gently. Kira looked into his eyes, a little blush appeared on her face she looked so confused and lost. Did he try and comfort her? Her body felt the need to hug him right on the spot. She just wanted to fully embrace him. But she stopped herself. Just like the rain slowly did. She looked out the window and then back at him. Nothing does last forever, the rain went and so did his hand slowly leave my own. Before he fully got it off, I just grabbed it. I held it. My intrusive thoughts took over so I hugged him. This was my unconscious mind telling me to do this. It didn't feel like I processed any of this beforehand.
I could feel his warm embrace and his heart beating, but mine was beating faster. I eventually let go and looked at him. Quickly apologising but he reassured me that he appreciated it. I looked at his pc and then the two chairs sitting next to eachother.
"Wanna continue playing—" I was quickly stopped by a sort of loud yes. I giggled and we both stood up and sat down on our own separate chairs. And the sun rose between the clouds. Shining thought his window blinds. He looked so majestic between them. But I quickly turned my head to face the computer game. And thats how the rest of the day went for us. Quite boring if you ask a person who doesn't understand what a crush means.
