What happened in Crimson Cafe?

*Ethan's POV*

"Psst, hey!" I heard someone call out to me, so I walked over to the end of my building's hallway

"OH! It's you guys, Good morning! Wait... What are you doing here so early?" I greeted my friends

"Oh I don't know, maybe it's because the girls in school are freaking out all over FB?" Ayesha said in an irritated voice

"What? Come on let's go inside." I rushed to my dorm with my friends

"You better explain yourself." Kyle said in a cold tone

*The group enters Ethan's suspiciously clean dorm.*

"Wow, it's... Your dorm is never clean, did you have anyone over?" Kyle asked suspiciously

"Yeah, it's odd. But at least I can breathe here now." Rachel said jokingly

"Haha very funny, anyway... What do you mean by all the girls in school are freaking out on FB." I asked Ayesha

"We just found out our school has a new *Cute Boys page*, and Viktor's been posted there a bunch of times already." Ayesha explained

"Yeah, and he's becoming popular because of it." Rachel said

"Oh, good for him? I don't really see the problem." I said

"Oh there's a problem alright, here's their latest post, take a look for yourself." Kyle said as he passed me his phone

My eyes widened the moment I saw their latest post, it's the photo Viktor took this morning.

"How'd they find this?" I asked impatiently

"Whoever runs the page took a screenshot of Viktor's IG story."

"Did he ask you first? Before he posted it I mean." Rachel asked

"Well I did but I didn't think people would see it, or post it all over FB." I explained

"There's a bunch of girls commenting a lot of bullshit, look." Ayesha said

"I'd rather not, besides they don't know me." I said

"Oh, tho I'm curious, are you 2 friends now?" Rachel asked with a smile on her face

"I'm not sure if I can call him my friend yet..." I said

"Don't change the topic so suddenly, Ethan, what did you 2 do last night?" Kyle asked

"Viktor and I? I just helped him buy groceries yesterday, then he went home :>" I'm a terrible liar

"So you're saying, he went home after you 2 bough groceries?" Ayesha asked

"Yes, after that I went home and slept." I explained

"If that's so, explain how you 2 took that selfie this morning?" Kyle asked with an impatient look on his face

"Oh right, we uh..." I went silent

"That's all I needed to know, I'm guessing he slept over last night? Because the rain wouldn't stop pouring?" Kyle said with a disappointed look on his face

"How'd you know??" I asked

"Because Viktor wrote something on his IG story, *Sleepovers are so fun!* In the photo." Ayesha explained

"Come on you two, he's about to tear up already, tone it down, say Ethan since there aren't any classes today how about we go to the cafe we went to last night?" Rachel is always the one who calms the room down.

"Yeah you're right, sorry Ethan." Kyle and Ayesha both apologized

I grabbed my wallet and we went to the cafe, Kyle, Ayesha and I made up while drinking our coffee. When we finished drinking Rachel asked us to come over to her house, she said her parents were out on a business trip. We spent the whole day there, we had lots of fun, and when her parents got back from their trip they offered me a ride home. It was already nighttime by then so I fell asleep pretty quickly, but not before reading Ms. Tara's announcement.

"Good evening students, classes will resume tomorrow!" She said

"CRAP! I haven't finished making the desserts!" I yelled out

I grabbed what I could, I had the basic ingredients for brownies so I'll just make those...

June 9 , 2021. 6 am, Ethan's clean yet cramped bedroom.

*Alarm clock violently rings*

"I'M UP, I'M UP!!" I yelled like an idiot.

When I woke up I once again, felt at ease. I didn't dream about the bullies at all... It was odd, I'm used to waking up scared or nervous about something... I need to get a new alarm clock, I wonder if that's why Viktor got up so early. As always I eat breakfast, shower, get ready, put the brownies in a box, grab my iPhone, and grab my school bag... Wait a damn minute... I don't have an iPhone! Oh no, Viktor must've left it while he was getting changed yesterday. I grabbed my phone and ran to school.

Recess time, 9 am, School cafeteria

I spent all morning looking for him, before classes I went around campus but I couldn't find him. I asked my friends if they knew which classroom Viktor's in, but no luck, where could he be?

"How'd you end up with his phone? Also, you haven't told us the whole story about your sleepover yet." Kyle said

"Oh uhm, well remember how you left me yesterday, Rachel?" I asked

"I'm sorryyy, my mom did make me my favorite meal tho, I didn't think you'd have a one-night stand with Viktor." Rachel said

"ONE NIGHT STAND?" I gasped angrily "It wasn't anything like that, besides he's a nice guy, he's not like that."

"How do you know that? Didn't you just meet yesterday?" Ayesha asked

"Well, last night we... When it started raining he gave me a spare umbrella, after that he helped me buy food and because the rain wouldn't stop. I asked him if he wanted to crash at my place for the night." I explained

"I know it might sound odd but turns out we were best friends in 7th grade... I don't remember him that well, last night I told him I did remember him just to make him feel better but..." I felt a wave of guilt hit me

"I see." Rachel said

"Well, are you just gonna sit there? You won't be able to find him just by sitting there, come on you'll find him this time I know it." Kyle asked

"Alright, I hope I do find him." I ran off looking for him

10 am, Ms. Tara's Room

"ETHAN! Over here, did you find him?" Rachel asked

"No luck, I even went to the college department, I heard there are senior classrooms there aswell." I said

"Have you tried checking his Fb? Ig? Maybe he posted something about his phone missing?" Rachel suggested

"But I don't know his Ig, or FB, I barely even know him." I sighed

"I know his Ig, a bunch of girls were looking for it and didn't stop until they found it. They found it after checking your old school's tagged posts." Rachel said

"Hey you're right that is him, there aren't any new posts. Maybe he couldn't post without his phone?" I sighed while making a disappointed face

"Hey, it's fine if you can't find him today. Try again tomorrow." Rachel suggested

"Alright, we'll find him tomorrow I just know it!" I said with delusion running in my veins

3 pm, Ms. Tara's room

"Okay class, we'll have to end our meeting early today, as you all know we didn't have any classes yesterday due to the heavy rainfall, now you're all required to go to your clubs and participate in any of the activities they assign you, understand? You're allowed to go home at 5pm. CLASS DISMISSED!" Ms. Tara announced

5 pm, in a street near Thornhill

After a whole day of searching, I felt exhausted and so I decided to go to a cafe on the other side of town, it's a cafe near my old school, Crimson Cafe, I used to go there all the time, alone. As I walked in, my eyes lit up with excitement cause there he was, sleeping...
