The Nephew Series

What follows

Riya was unhappy with Aryan for letting Saif have his way with her. She was in the bathroom. Aryan waited for her. She comes out and Aryan tries to talk to her. She was in no mood and tells him to go to sleep. Aryan sensed her displeasure and decided to talk later. In the other room, Saif was feeling sorry for his actions now. He couldn't sleep in the night.

The next morning, Riya wakes up before others and goes to the kitchen and makes tea for all. She goes to call the boys. She opens the door and sees Faiz sleeping and Saif sitting near the window.

R: Boys, tea is ready

S: Riya, I'm sorry for last night

She doesn't respond and goes to her room. Saif knew she was very much displeased. He could sense she was ignoring him. He thought he could talk to Aryan about it.

S: Aryan, did Riya say something last night

A: No. What happened?

S: I feel she's angry with me. Shes trying to ignore me

A: oh no. Don't worry, she will be fine. Probably tired after last night

Aryan knew she was unhappy with what had happened. He decided to talk to her when the boys were not there. He goes to his room and calls her there. He asks her to sit and talks to her.

A: Riya please forgive him

R: What?

A: Saif thinks you are angry with him and you're ignoring him

R: Oh that. Well that is a fact, I am unhappy with him. And you too

A: What?

R: Yes. You were the one who suggested it and said it would be fun. See how it turned out

A: Ok. I'm sorry. But please be nice to him. He is just a kid

R: Whoa. Firstly, he is not a kid. And second, I'll try to be nice. But he's gotta stay in his limits

Aryan knew there was nothing more he could do. He gets ready for office and leaves. Riya goes to the parking to see him off. In the meantime, Saif had decided to do something as a sorry gesture. Riya goes back to her room and sees a box of chocolate and a flower with a sorry note on it. She knew it must be Saif. She decided to talk to him. She goes to their room.

R: Faiz, will you give me a minute with your brother

F: Sure

He goes out of the room shutting the door.

R: Did you put it there?

S: Ya. Riya I'm sorry. I really am. I don't know what got into me last night. I'm just so sorry

She sees tears rolling down from his eyes and she felt he was really sorry. She hugs him and wipes his tears.

R: Okay. Now stop crying. Guys don't look nice with tears

S: I'm sorry

R: Its okay. Now stop crying and watch some TV. You'll feel good

Saif was feeling better now. Riya was going when she stopped at the door and turned around.

R: We didn't well last night. How about we make up for it tonight?

Saif was shocked. She winks at him and closes the door. Saif still believe what she said. She goes to her room and calls Aryan in his office.

R: Me and Saif are cool now

A: That's good

R: Ya. The kid is kinda sweet actually
