"Thank you for introducing me," I smiled and chose not to look at Nikolaus. I don't know how he'll react to this.

"It seems your husband was shocked to know your real identity. All of us here knew except him," Maxima said, and my jaw clenched as I chuckled.

"What do you mean, all of you?" Nikolaus asked, curious.

"Oh, you still didn't know. Should I tell him?" Maxima looked at me. "Well, Wynnona Snow Fierro is Theron's ex-wife. You didn't know that, son?"

"Theron's wife? Is that true?" Nikolaus asked. When I didn't hear Theron respond, I spoke up.

"It's true. I am his ex-wife," I said without reaction, still avoiding looking at him. "I also warned him about telling you the truth because I have something I know that I can use against him."

"Theron, is it true?" He sounded betrayed. It took a while before Theron responded.

"I'm sorry, Nikolaus."

"Do you still want more, son? Let's just spill it all." I glared even harder at Maxima.

"I believe it's not your business anymore, Maxima."

"It is. It was my son whom you deceived." I laughed in disbelief. I can't believe she'd say that in front of Nikolaus. In fact, we both deceived her son. Akala mo kung sinong nagmamalinis.

I tucked my hair behind my ear before speaking again.

"You now care for him? As far as I know, he's eager to kill you, just like I am. That's why I've joined him here. So, don't act like a good mother who cares for her son. Or maybe you're doing that because two of your sons are already dead by my own hands." I saw her giggle with so much anger, but seeing her in that situation made me happy. "It was my present for you. I sent the bodies to Nikolaus, but I guess you haven't seen them yet." I added with a smirk.

"I will kill you," she's so much in anger.

"Will you feel so much pain if I also kill your last son?" I quickly took the gun from Boris and pointed it straight at Nikolaus without hesitation.

As much as I didn't want to look at Nikolaus, but I had to. He needed to see that I didn't feel any affection or guilt for what I did to him and for what I am doing now. I want to show him how heartless I am to someone whom I want to destroy and be rid of. That this is the true identity of the woman he married. But why is he looking at me like that? His eyes are telling me that this isn't true, and just a dream.

"Snow," Theron called me, but my eyes were on Nikolaus only.

"You're already doing that, but why don't you tell him that one of his foremen is one of your men?" I saw Nikolaus frowned without taking his eyes off me.

"Snow, we have to-" We all looked at the door as Briggs entered, but he stopped when he saw us in this situation, where his real boss was pointing a gun at a boss he also respected. As he entered, my foremen also entered.

"Now that they're here, why don't I introduce them to you? They are my foremen, Boris, Billy, Blaze, Bruce, including Briggs." I introduced them to him to finish this already and so I can focus on Maxima and Christiano.

"My wife, my best friend, my personal secretary, whom I treated like one of us, all knew about this, and now it makes sense. Everything makes sense." Nikolaus said without taking his eyes off me. Kanina pa siya nakatitig sa akin na para bang gusto akong lamunin ng buhay.

"I didn't know about Briggs, Nikolaus." I rolled my eyes at Theron. It looks like he's afraid to ruin his friendship with Nikolaus after knowing the truth. After all, they've been through a lot together and consider each other brothers.
