its a normal Wednesday , with me having AP chemistry and writing notes when i hear my name being called on the schools speaker. Khalid, Imani and i share this class; he turns to me and whispers
"what did you do" of course i play a silly prank once and now its always me
"this time nothing" i stand up gather my things and head towards the principal's office atleast what i'm wearing is presentable ; A brown sweatshirt and leggings .

i get to the principals office and greet his receptionist before heading inside his office
" miss storm take a sit" i sit already trying to figure out whats happening
"its come to my attention you aren't signed up for extra curriculars" your kidding right he couldn't send an email or something
"im signed up for music , thats an extra curricular"
"ok let me rephrase that , you haven't showed for any class" well he cant blame me that class is boring
"i dont know how you did it at your former school and i dont care how rich you are , you attend every class" this man is just pissed i spray painted his car and glued him to his chair
"yes sir" i get up and head back to class when i receive a chat from my mum
leo fainted were headed to the hospital the driver is on his way

i hate hospitals i had to spend almost a year there so i avoid it but its leo and he hates it as much as me and was there for me,so i need to be there.

ive been here for an hour now , i thought they said fainted shouldn't he be awake
"you'd think you would atleast show you care" i close the book im reading and look at my dear brother who seems to have woken up then alert the nurse

"when can i get out of here , i have a meeting tomorrow to prepare for" there's my brother the business man

"dont worry about the company , its still mine and i can run it just fine " finally . leo dosent look happy though but dads words are final so he keeps shut and lays back down .

"enjoy life like any 21 year old would maybe" can never be leo his always serious and only lets that mask fall once in a while
my parents leave the room to go talk to the doctor and leo turns to me
" nope dont even think about it nopeee"
"come on please just sneak me my laptop we both no they wont allow me have it"
"exactly try to relax , go to a bar or something" just as I'm arguing olive comes running in with tears in his eyes

"never buddy come on , if i leave who else can i play games with" olive's been traumatized if I'm being honest he was a little kid when i was taken and saw me when i was recovering , his seen things that no kid at his age should have seen
"all this stress is my fault i should take up a role in the company I'm old enough to be helpful around , it would take a load of your shoulder"
"yeah and I'll help too" we laugh at olive's enthusiasm
"that nurse has no idea what she was saying" at that moment said nurse enters
"the nurse has a name , sit up i need to check your vitals then you can be discharged " i carry olive out and head to the lobby
"we should get ice cream after this" the thought of ice cream has my stomach churning
"exactly buddy " Leo answers coming out of the room, seems like his discharged
"what did you do to the nurse she's glaring at you badly"

we head to the car no surprise mum and dad left i swear maybe that divorce wouldn't have been a bad idea
i try thinking up an excuse when i receive a text from Satan's spawn
hey can we talk meet at my car in the school parking lot

"ive got something to do so just drop me off back at school" leo looks at me trying to read me but gives up
"dont do anything illegal" its not illegal if he deserved it
"I'm an angel i would never" we reach school just in time , i head towards the idiot's car and wait for him to come out. After a few minutes his exiting the school and heads towards his car , unlocks the door, he goes to open the doors for me when i open and enter , if he thinks after the stunt he pulled were friends his sadly mistaken. as he enters and starts the engine
"you said you wanted to talk so talk , you've got 5 mins then drop me home please"
"still rude as ever" can u commit murder with a key mouth cause im tempted right now
"you know what i changed my mind"
"i need your help" i turn back to the idiot
"and you think ill help why" he lets out what seems like an exaggerated sigh as he rests his head on the wheel"
"your not going to make this easy are you"

XAVIER'S POV
i actually dont need her help but i need her in the same vicinity as me without glaring daggers in my head , which she's still doing btw
"your 5 minutes running out"
"i need a sparing partner for an upcoming match" I'm i stupid for bringing up the exact same thing that put me in this situation yes i am , but i also do need her cause as annoying and good looking her ass is , she's a heck of a good fighter.
"since when do you box professionally"
"since i was 14 actually , but story aside i have an up coming match " match my father will rip me apart if he found out about .seeing as I'm not meant to be boxing professionally especially illegally
"so what do you say princess , will you help me win a match"
"not really in the helping mood"
" I'm not above begging" honestly I'm not. her style of fighting is different , so though she might hate my guts , i need her help.
"good then start by apologizing , then we can move to the begging now if you will excuse me my uber just arrived" with that she's out of my car
i knew this would be hard but that's what i get for not thinking my head.
i head home to go talk to the wisest person i know , that being my mother.

when i started this book i wanted a soft Christian romance but as life would have it or rather the characters i have no idea where this is going but this is definitely not a slow burn romance .
