1. The king felt sad and unsure after Vasishtha's words, but he stayed quiet, hoping things would change.

2. The queens watched Rama closely, worried about him.

3. Around this time, the famous sage Viswamitra visited the king of Ayodhya.

4. Viswamitra's holy rituals were disrupted by powerful and deceitful demons.

5. Viswamitra sought the king's help to protect his rituals from these demons.

6. Viswamitra also came to Ayodhya to defeat these demons.

7. He asked the palace guards to inform the king of his arrival.

8. The guards hurried to tell the king about Viswamitra's arrival.

9. They informed the chief-warder, who then told the king about Viswamitra's visit.

10. The king's messenger informed him about Viswamitra's arrival.

11. The messenger described Viswamitra's impressive appearance to the king.

12. Viswamitra's presence made everything shine like gold.

13. As soon as the guard informed the king, he and his ministers went to meet Viswamitra.

14. The king and his court quickly went to meet Viswamitra.

15. They found Viswamitra waiting at the palace gate.

16. Viswamitra stood at the gate, looking powerful like the sun.

17. His wisdom and strength made him shine like the sun on earth.

18. Viswamitra was old and rough-skinned from his ascetic practices.

19. He looked kind yet majestic, with an aura of seriousness.

20. Viswamitra was attractive but formidable, with vast knowledge and inner light.

21. His age, mind, and understanding had no limits.

22. Viswamitra's compassion and kind words pleased everyone.

23. His sacred thread and eyebrows made him stand out.

24. The king bowed low before Viswamitra, decorating the ground with his crown's gems.

25. Viswamitra greeted the king warmly, like the sun greeting the gods.

26. The Brahmans in the court also welcomed Viswamitra respectfully.

The king said:
27. "Your unexpected visit brings me immense joy, like rain after a drought or gaining sight after being blind."

28. "Your presence fills me with endless happiness."

29. "Today, we're the luckiest to have you here."

30. They continued chatting happily as they headed to the court.

31. The king hesitated to offer Viswamitra the honor, feeling overwhelmed by his presence.

32. Viswamitra accepted the honor from the king respectfully.

33. The king asked about Viswamitra's well-being and his family's health.

34. He also greeted Vasishtha and asked about his well-being.

35. After their polite conversation, they took their seats.

36. Everyone in the court respected Viswamitra.

37. They offered various respects to Viswamitra.

38. After honoring Viswamitra properly, the king spoke to him with respect and humility.

Section II - Address of King Dasaratha:
39. "Your visit brings me as much joy as finding nectar or rain after a drought."

40. "Your presence is like a dream come true or finding a lost treasure."

41. "Your arrival is like meeting a long-awaited friend or finding something you thought was lost."

42. "Your presence is like seeing a dear friend return from the sky."

43. "I'm as happy as being in heaven because of your visit."

44. "Please tell me how I can serve you, O wise sage."

45. "You were once a royal sage, but now your asceticism has made you a great Brahman sage."

46. "Your presence soothes my soul like bathing in the Ganga."

47. "You are free from fears and desires, and it's amazing that you seek my help."

48. "Your presence purifies me, like being in the moon's glow."

49. "You are like Brahma himself to me, and I feel blessed by your presence."

50. "I feel fortunate to have you here and live a good life."

51. "My heart is overflowing with joy since seeing you."

52. "I'll fulfill any request you have, O great sage."

53. "You can ask for anything, and I'll gladly give it to you."

54. "I'll carry out your orders faithfully, as I see you as divine."

55. The king's kind words pleased Viswamitra greatly.
