*priest Ruv's POV*
Falling. I don't know where I am, but I am falling off the side of a tall-seeming building that I do not recognize. The air is cold. I can feel that I am no longer immortal. Has Sarvente broken our vow..? She would never...
I continue to fall for minutes, never reaching the cement street. Where am I? Where is Sarvente? What has happened???
Wait... If I turn into my demon form I should be able to fly away.
... My wings are torn off. What happened to me..? Where is Sarvente?
I can now visibly see the ground. People are gathering underneath where I would fall. I would assume they are trying to catch me, but I fear that is not the case.
As I come even closer, I hear people shouting and yelling. They are shouting and yelling at me.
"FREAK!", someone in the crowd shouts.
"GO BACK TO HELL WHERE YOU BELONG, DEMON!", someone else yells. People are shouting never-ending insults at me. I do not care for those who have bullied me in my past, but this is different.
My life flashes before my eyes as I am only feet above the ground. I see younger me, being made a joke of, teased by others. I see younger Sarvente and I, promising we will meet each other again. I see Sarvente on the day she vowed to stay by my side forever. I see the church. I see Sarvente, my closest friend, whom I love and care for more than anything in this corrupted world.
I... love her?
That is my last thought before I hit the ground. I scream in excruciating pain.
Suddenly, I am back in my bedroom in the church, my heart still beating rapidly. Sarvente rushes through the doorway (and nearly breaks the handle in the process).
"RUVYZVAT!", she exclaims. "Are you hurt?! What happened?!?"
"I... had a terrible nightmare.", I stutter, in a state of shock. "I was falling, people were shouting insults at me, calling me a freak and telling me to go back to Hell, allowing me to fall to my death."
"Oh Ruv...", she says, once again giving me a hug, chuckling in tears. "I would never let something like that happen to you..."
Once she has calmed down, she gets up to go back to her room.
"Wait, Sarv...", I say.
She turns around to see what I need.
"Could you stay..?", I say to her.
She smiles, and sits down on the side of my bed while I fall asleep.
