*In a middle of a wasteland of what once was a peaceful world is Capital City, where most of the remaining survivors had gather to form a resistance against a great evil that had dominated the world in the present moment*
Secretary: Sir! There getting past our defenses! I'm not sure our duelist will be able to hold the back for long!
Lex: I can't. The Machine isn't operational yet. Hold them back for longer and get me the 5 Elite duelists!
Secretary: Of Course sir!
Lex: I can't believe what they'll do to get to us. Is the device functional yet?
Mechanic: Almost sir! Just a few more adjustments!
*Loud sounds emit from outside the bunker that Lex was staying at as he prepared to finalize the last part of the plan*
Secretary: Here Sir! All of your carefully selected duelists.
*The Secretary leads in a group of five duelist who all hurry from the outside conflict and approach Lex who's standing a the foot of The Fractal Engine, a powerful device capable of letting one to travel through space and time*
Vectra: We came as fast as we could Lex! Is it finally time?
Lex: Sadly due to certain circumstances, yes. We cannot delay any longer.
Grave: So then I guess all of our training will be put to use.
Zavier: I don't see that as a negative!
*More alarming sounds can be heard as all six of them including Lex look at each other*
Nirami: There's no more waiting.. Let's go.
Lex: Indeed. Duelist positions please.
*Everyone makes it into position as Lex remotely starts the Fractal Engine and looks back at the entrance to the base where the Secretary is standing is worry*
Secretary: They made it pass the Wall!
Lex: Dispatch all duelist now! We can't have them make it to us!
Secretary: Will do!
*Multiple people from around the base grab onto their duel disks at they run out of the base, meanwhile the Fractal Engine is completing it's charge*
Vectra: Well. I guess this came early then expected. I wasn't planning on parting ways so soon.
Grave: Don't worry. It's only temporary. We'll meet again when our main goal is over.
Nirami: Yes, I won't stop until we get to erase that monster from history.
Lex: No need for such speculation! We'll each go to their respective time, find the source card and Link the connection. Remember, even if the people you meet in those times may not understand our goals it is in their best interest to follow along and if required use any force necessary to get to our true goal.
(Everyone else in unison): Of Course!
*As the six duelists exchange their last words and the Fractal Engine reaches it's full power, their all sent away to separate times in history with Lex ended up in the most recent time. as the bright light blurs Lex's vision after a momentary pause he regains conscious in what seems to be a hospital in Den City. Lex had awoken 1000 years in the past. Looking around he notices a worried girl seating nearby*
Lex: Where? Did I make it-
Skye: Oh great your alive! I was so worried when I saw spotted you on the ground all covered in bruises!
*Lex looks down at himself as he notices he had obtained multiple bruises when he was sent back*
Lex: Yikes, I guess I should of expected this much.
