me: i don't like drama and i hate gossip also me: writes this
admittedly i might like drama and enjoy gossip a little bit.
this fic is purely for the vibes. i love the revenge dating trope, idc if it's dramatic, that's half the fun. the fact that it's ultimately going to cause a life crisis for everyone involved at some point or another is the other half of the fun. and we all know esteban is messy down to his dna so this trope is perfect for him. disclaimer: pierre will be catching strays throughout 80% of this fic. i promise i love him he's just my most convenient victim. worst-behaved sacrificial lamb. additionally, i really enjoy expressing my love for teams that are really bad. like simply the worst. as a haas & williams fan from day 1, alpine is being added to my list of teams that i support because i have a soft spot for lost causes.
