Haley's POV

Just looking at my family as we ate, this was all I needed this Christmas. The twins and their mates had their own cute conversation. Becks and Victor filled the dining room with laughter. Tiffany and Melissa giggled and talked. Jamie and Selena blushed and talked hush tone. I smiled so brightly and my eyes watered

"Haley?", Becks said looking at me

"Mom?", Jamie said at the same time as Becks. They always knew when something was up. I fanned my face with my hand, but the tears tumbled down. I haven't cried since.... When damn when was the last time I cried? The room got silent and everyone had their eyes on me

"Grandma?", Melissa called, I smiled even more and more tears came

"I'm fine...", I sniffled and Becks took my hand "I'm just.... Really happy!". Everyone sighed in relief and gave me smile. Becks took his napkin and wiped my tears then kissed my cheek

"It's just so beautiful, seeing everyone laughing", I explained looking at Becks then at the other couples "everyone in love and having conversations. This moment is perfect!"

"Awww! Haley, you're such a softy", Tiffany said laying her head on my shoulder and took my other hand in hers.

Selena's POV

I'm really worried. Although, it's been great and fun out here with my family. They miss Willow and to be honest so do I. Jamie looks happy, but I know he misses Willow. Angelina has been trying everything to fix me and bring Willow back. I've been trying to keep a smile, considering it's the holiday and I don't want Melissa to worry, but I can't help it. I'm not apart of this life style, Willow is. I'm suppose to be rebellion and reckless wolf, but here I am playing little sweet girl.

"Hey", I heard Jamie's voice say and I silently wiped my tears I never cry! What the hell! "what are you doing in the dark?"

"I was just um.... Thinking", I answered whispering and continued looking out the window. The beautiful pure white snowflakes still falling, creating thick sheets of snow

"You miss her?", he asked walking up behind

"It feels so weird.... She should be out here not me", I replied, Jamie sighed and turned me around

"Don't say that, you two are the same person", he commented

"But it's true, I'm the wolf.... She's the one that can tolerate this regular life", I said looking away "I just give her advice, make smart remarks, and attack anyone who threatens my family". I heard a deep growled, which frightened me then I was pushed against the window I'm surprised it didn't break.

"I will not stand here and listen to my mate insult herself!", he growled grabbed my chin and making me look at him. His eyes were glowing silver- Max! I shivered feeling the cold on my back and the warm breath from Max

"Selena, you have every right to be here just like Willow", he said more softly this time and I rolled my eyes "don't roll your eyes at me or I'll punish you"

"Then why do I feel like everyone else does want me here?", I questioned blushing "wait.... Did you just say you were gonna punish me?"

"No one is acting different Selena and-"

"Really? Well you could've fooled me", I interrupted and he growled again. He wrapped his arm around me to my lower back and pulled me closer to him, so his head was beside mine
