The Dragon Problem

It has been 2 years since the destruction of BYA, now, our two heroes are exploring the Berry Jungle , to study the local fruits and fauna.

Pure Vanilla Cookie, I think I found something interesting here-WL

these fruits... they are so much sweeter than anything else I've ever eaten-WL

PV quickly recognized the fruit, the berries that encouraged Hollyberry Cookie to found her kingdom, make juice so good that locals drink rivers of it every day.

Suddenly a noise can be heard in the sky... PV then remembered the biggest problem that the Hollyberry Kingdom (HBK) suffers from: dragons

Pure Vanilla, we need to stop this dragon!  If there are other Cookies around they could get hurt-WL

You're right White Lily, I'll support you in the best way possible-PV

Then WL raises her white lily staff (PV still doesn't know where WL found it, one day she just appeared with it in her hand and refused to say how she got it) in the air, chanting an incantation.

Roots and flowers begin to come out of the earth, the roots manage to capture the dragon in the sky, and trap it in the earth, the flowers begin to release spores, making the dragon's strength fall, then thorns appear on the flowers and roots, piercing the dragon's skin.

As powerful as the spell is, WL ends up falling tiredly to the ground and fainting, while the dragon frees itself from its root bonds.

Even if you are strong, White Lily Cookie, a dragon is a dragon, there's no  Cookie who can defeat one alone, especially with just one spell *and without a souljam*-PV says, whispering the last part.

PV uses his healing magic, creating a shield around WL while using magic to recover her from exhaustion.

The dragon meanwhile recovers, the effect of the pollen wearing off, as he prepares to set fire to the two Cookies (while PV was too busy taking care of WL).

When PV realizes it's too late, the dragon's fire is already very close, WL is protected, but he doesn't have time to create a shield for him... Someone jumps out of a bush, getting between PV and the dragon's fire.  Pure Vanilla knows that silhouette, it was Hollyberry Cookie!

Obviously, the shield breaks, after all it is the flames of a dragon, but it blocked enough time for PV to make a magic shield for him and HB, after which the dragon runs away, not seeing the need to insist so much on these Cookies.

Wow! You guys are certainly tough to crack, you survived a dragon attack without a scratch on your dough!-HB

Hollyberry takes PV and WL to a cabin, along the way PV tells (briefly) what led them to Berry Jungle.

Have you been IN THAT desert?  I always dreamed of going there!  Imagine the mysteries that place holds-HB

Unfortunately, we didn't find anything there... but I plan to go back there another day-PV
