CHAP. 3

//PERTH//

• Next morning ♡⁠(⁠>⁠ ⁠ਊ⁠ ⁠<⁠)⁠♡

I open my eyes and look at my side, to find Chimon sleeping so peacefully. I realize quickly that we slept while holding each other's hands, I can't help but hold his hand tight and bring it closer to me. I kissed his hand and put my other hand on top of his, caressing his hand softly.

I settle my eyes on him and made a promise to myself that I'll do anything to protect him.

//CHIMON//

I slowly open my eyes and let my eyes wander on the familiar room. I sit up and look beside me, to find Perth gone. I get up and went outside his room to find him cooking, I smiled and went to sit at the chair.

"Good morning Perth~" I greeted him, which earned me a startled look. I chuckled, "Aw, why so startled?? It's only us in here" I teased him. He smiled, "Good morning phi, your clothes are hunged up at the back of my door", "Krub (Thank you)", "What time does your class start??" He asked, "Mm, around eight I'm pretty sure?", "You don't know your own schedule??" He ragged, "Ai sat! I had a good sleep last night", "That makes you forget everything??" He laughed, I get a little embarrassed as he sat infront of me and settle the food down.

"This looks so good!!" He said in ecstatic. I saw his face light up as he tried it "Delicious!!" He then begun to eat more, I sighed in relief and smiled.

"Leave the dishes to me, go ahead and take a shower" I insisted, "I'm not letting you do everything for me, you know!" He argued, "it's fine, plus it's almost time, it's unusual for you to be late" I assured him, he looked at the time and sighed in defeat "fine, but I owe you next time!", "Khap~" I smiled. I hurried him to go take a shower and slightly shake my head at his foolish behaviour.

After a while, I put the last plate on the drying rack. I dry my hands with a towel and head to my bedroom. Then suddenly heard something falling, it was coming from the bathroom. I quickly went infront of the door and knocked "P'mon, are you alright??", "Khap! Sorry I fell while getting the soap from the floor!!" I heard his voice from the bathroom. I sighed in relief "Be careful next time", "Krub!" He responded.

I went in the bedroom and started preparing my stuff. I look at Chimon's clothes and looked back at my closet, smiling.

"Chi!! You can go ahead, I wouldn't want you being late, ai'll be go right after you!" I shouted from the bathroom to alert Chimon. "Khap!! Be quick, I'll text you!" He shouted back.

//THIRD PERSON//

Perth strolled into the not so popular restaurant where Chimon told him to meet him at. His outfit was a mirror image of Chimon. Chimon was wearing a black shirt with a half of a yellow heart printed on the back of it and a pair of black jeans, while Perth wore the exact same thing though instead of a black shirt with a half yellow heart printed on it, it was a yellow shirt with a half of a black heart printed on the back. "I dont think yellow fits me well" Perth chuckled, he could see Chimon's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the sight. He couldn't help but burst into laughter at the "unexpected" matching ensemble.

"What on earth are you wearing, Perth?" Chimon exclaimed between giggles, unable to contain her amusement. Perth simply grinned mischievously, clearly delighted by his friend's reaction. "I thought we could be twins today" he replied, striking a pose. Despite his initial shock, Chimon couldn't help but appreciate Perth's effort to inject some fun into their day. As they sat down for lunch, the matching outfits becaming a conversation starter, drawing curious glances from other people on the campus.

"Woah?? What's this now" Ohm started, shocked by his two friend's identical outfits. Despite his initial shock, Ohm couldn't resist teasing Perth about his newfound "twinning" moment with Chimon. With a mischievous grin, he quipped, "Well, well, looks like someone's found their fashion inspiration! Are you and Chimon starting a trend, Perth na??" He playfully said which lightened up the mood. Yet, beneath the teasing, there lingered a curiosity about this so called "coincidence" he knows his friend too well and he knows he did it on purpose, did he do something last night?? Did they do something last night?? Boy, does he have questions for his buddy Perth. But besides that he's more than happy that his buddy has taken a step forward with his "little" crush.

"Sorry I came late! Had to beg proffesor to accept my way past deadline assignment" Nanon settled down in the table. "It's fine, I already ordered you food" Ohm proudly marked. "How are you so sure I would like what you ordered, do you know me??" he smirked at Ohm, "I know you better then anyone else, even yourself" Ohm bit back as they continued to fight. Perth and Chimon looked at each other and chuckled as the two bickered.

The waitress settle their food and they started to eat their food, "Oh yeah, do you know there's a new student coming to school??" Nanon mentions, the rest turned their head up interested. "really?" Perth questioned, "yeah, it's a girl thank God though. There are barely girls in this school that it's almost an all boys school!" Nanon exaggerated. Everyone chuckled and continued their food while chatting, free from drama. But only at this moment.

• Next day!!

I walked in my first period and found myself looking for Chimon. I finally found him and walked to him, "Morning, P'Chi" I sat down beside him. "Khap, morning Perth" he looked at me and smiled, a smile that's enough to tear my heart open. "Everyone settle down in your seats" the professor came in. Chimon started to get his notebook ready to take down some notes and I did the same. "Before we start please welcome our new student", then a stunning girl walks in "Sawadee Krub everyone, I'm Esther. I was born in France but I'm Thai. I hope we can get along well!" She smiled brightly. She was brunette with a heart shaped face and her makeup was did really well and fitted her face, she has a casual style and suited her really well. I looked over at Chi.

• Flashback from last night!

I insisted on dropping Chimon off while Ohm and Nanon walked because their houses are nearby the university. I guided Chimon into the passenger side and opened the door for him, he looked at me surprised and chuckled. "What am I??, your passenger princess?" He laughed, "maybe" I teased back. "Sure sure" He playfully rolled his eyes and went inside the car, I then closed the door and went into the drivers side. I started the car and fastened my seatbelt while Chimon did his.

"Thanks for giving me a ride by the way" he smiled, "of course, it's the least I can do" I smiled back and turned on the music. I left the parking lot and headed into the road. I stopped at a red light and looked to check Chimon to find him staring at the window.

• End of flashback!

I can't help but feel mesmerized by his eyes, it tells me a lot.

Just like now, his eyes were staring at Esther, full of curiosity and interest. It gave me a bad intuition but I just shrugged it off, thinking that it's just an interest to make a friend.

Esther was making her way up, trying to find a seat. "You can sit here" Chi suddenly offered. I looked at Esther, as she settled down next to Chimon. Then, Chimon started to talk to Esther and ask her questions. I tried to talk to Chimon but the way he sounded like this was his first ever friend made me not wanna interrupt. But still, I couldn't shake the feeling of being an outsider to both of them.

This was only short because I actually divided the original Chapter 3 from three chapters because it was really long and you might get bored easily😓!!
