In too deep

Chapter one

I'm dreaming, I think to myself as I run deeper into the dark abyss this can't be real it's not real just as I tell myself I jolt up awakened by my alarm for school. I quickly get out of bed drenched in sweat. I got to the bathroom. I turn on the sink, close my eyes, and splash some warm water on my face. I quickly shower and brush my teeth. I throw on some black jeans and a red T-shirt on top. I wear a black hoodie and my red Jordan 1s. Just as I check the time and realize I'm gonna be late for school I also see that I've gotten 27 messages from my friend Isabelle. She always messages me in the morning and at night when I try to sleep too. I grab my backpack and car keys off my nightstand and I run downstairs. Just as I'm about to run out the door I hear my mom call my name "Riyah" my mom says from the kitchen. I look to my left towards the living room seeing my dad watching TV on the couch with my little brother and sister while Tyrone and Kiara drinking his morning coffee he nods toward the kitchen on my right and says sternly "Answer your mother" I walk into the kitchen I stop at the Island "Yes Ma'am" I say in an out of breath voice "Did you study for your test retake?." she says with an annoyed voice "yes" I say still breathing heavily "ok have a good day at school. I love you Riyah" she says before walking over to me and hugging me. "I love you too Mom," I say, hugging her back, I run out the front door, jump into my Cadillac Escalade V, and start the car as I throw my backpack into the back seat. I drive to school in a rush getting there just in time to make it to 1st period. I jump out and see my friends talking in front of the school while other people walk by. I start walking towards them when they finally notice me Isabelle yells. "HEY WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO long!" Isabelle says in an angry tone loudly making some people turn their heads and look at her. Walking quicker, putting my hands up in defense. "Hey Riyah." Kai and my other friends Valeria and Lia say as I finally stop seeing that Isabelle is texting her ex again. I sigh while shaking my head "She still hasn't learned her lesson with this guy.?" I say already knowing the answer "Yep." Valeria says also in an annoyed tone "Isabelle you understand that he's just gonna keep cheating on you no matter how many chances you give him." I say in an aggravated tone lifting one eyebrow while looking at her in her eyes. She puts her phone in her pocket "Oh fuck off as you didn't go back to Daniella Anderson like twice" she says in a very mean tone. Kai's mouth drops half open while Lia oohs. I look at Isabelle with an angry look whilst Valeria laughs "Ok that's not funny" I turn to Valeria glaring at her as she stops laughing. Lia pulls her phone out of her pocket checking the time "Guys we're gonna be late to first period we gotta go" she says quickly, Me, Kai, and Valeria walk to Mr. Shapiro's class whilst Isabelle and Lia walk to Mr. Shapiro's class. Once we get to Mr. Shapiro's class we walk in taking our seats in the back of the class. The class is not that big. It's just your average high school classroom. I sit in the middle row next to Kai and Valeria sits next to this guy named Sam, she rarely talks to him but he's a nice guy. Before class starts Mr. Shapiro comes up to the table Me and Kai sit at "Riyah to take your test you will have to do it in the hall" she says letting out a sigh I grab my things and walk to her desk which is in the middle of the room aligned with the middle row of the table she hands me the test paper as I walk out the classroom I set my stuff down sliding my back down against the wall of her classroom.

This is my first time writing a wattpad story and i'm really excited and hoping it goes well!.
