One day, evolved into two days and Claude de Obelia was buried into the ground without any funeral. Jennette wasn't allowed to be there while he was buried.

She was to be stuck in her room, inside the palace. As her reason of existence was completed. Jennette glanced at the ceiling her mind empty, her eyes dried of tears. Dark circles under her eyes that once held a sparkle.

Claude de Alger Obelia was buried just like his forgotten daughter. His real daughter, Athanasia. It made Jennette sick, real sick. Just that thought alone.

Jennette turned at the side of her bed, as vomit came rushing out of her mouth. She coughed as even more tears poured down. After her vomiting came to an end. She glanced at the puddle in blank silence. She laid back without anyword. Again blankly watching thr ceiling Befire finally closing her eyes and falling asleep. When she woke up, the puddle of vomit was cleant. Jennette refused to get out of the bed. Still.

A month went by like that, her getting up, eating somthing given to her by maids , vomiting and sleeping. She never left her room. But no one came to check on her either. Not even Rosalia. On one particular day, she found herself glancing out of the window. She found herself glancing at the yellow rays of the sun shining into her room. It made her remember athanasi's hair. Was athanasia also this lonely when she was alive? Did she have anyone to care for her? Jennette remembered athanasia's caretaker. Lilian york. How was she feeling? Jennette sighed, her mind fuzzy. She glanced at the door. She had to go out and find her answers. Answers she didn't really want to know.

She made her way towards Ruby palace, athanasia's home and where Lillian would be. Getting into the ruby palace was easy, there were no guards guarding it. She made her way threw the rose garden. There was a time when she would glance at the roses in awe. But now, the red in the roses made her think of the blood that covered Claude's corpse.

A silver head in the garden made Jennette halt in her place. She blinked as she saw ijekeil, her bethroned husband. Her eyes went dull now she knew why he was her future husband. It's because Roger wanted to make ijekeil the future emperor. The marriage would be of conviniance. But at least they were good friends. Jennette slowly made her way towards ijekeil. The boy was glancing at one particular rose that instead of being red was blue.

Jennette also started to watch the rose. It was unlike others, it was light blue and was shining in the light of the sun. "it's like Athy's eyes" Jennette whsipered to herself. Now gaining ijekeil's attention.

The boy glanced at her in shook "Jennette? " he asked. Jennette nodded still glancing at the rose that reminded her of athanasia's eyes. They fell into a comfortable silence. Both glancing at the blue rose. "I don't love you Jennette. Not romantically" ijekeil stated, Jennette didn't say anything back. She was already aware of the fact. There was a time when she loved him like that but those feelings went away as the years went by.

"is this your way of stopping our marriage. If so, tell your father." Jennette explained. Her voice was emotionless "because this is an arranged marriage. The reason behind the marriage is for you to become the future emperor" Jennette explained.

Side glaring at ijekeil. His expression didn't change. Making Jennette know that ijekeil was aware that this was the reason behind their arrange marriage. Jennette frowned at that. Somehow feeling betrayed that he knew the reason before her. Was this the reason he was friendly towards her? Was their friendship also arranged? She hopes not.

"I won't stop the marriage, it's my fathers wishes" ijekeil stated catching Jennette attention before she digs deep into her own thoughts. "I just wired to let you know my feelings for you and.... For athanasia" Jennette blinked, feelings for athanasia? She glanced at the blue flower.

"you loved her" Jennette questioned but mostly stated. Ijekeil silently nodded. A small sad smile on his face. An expression she never saw on him before. An expression of love. Love for the forgotten princess.

"the day you introduced her to me.  I feel for her instead of falling for you." ijekeil explained. "she was kind and gentle. An understanding girl. I couldn't help it" Jennette bit her bottom lip. Feeling guilty. She took ijekeil's first love away from him.

"ijekeil.... I am sorry" Jenenette mumbled "I am sorry for your loss" Ijekeil shook her head. "it's too late. I need to go home. Goodbye Jennette. Give my regards to... Never mind" with those words ijekeil left the garden probably heading towards the alpheus mansion. Jennette stood there for more minutes. Looking at the rose one last time before entering the ruby palace.

The Ruby palace was somehow duller then the main palace. It felt like she was entering a haunted house, maybe it was. Maybe athanasia's spirit was flying by. But that might be Jennette's wishful thinking.

Suddenly Jennette found herself being hit by a glass bottle. Glass bottle shattering as soon as it collided with Jennette's head. Blood started to pour out of her wound. As she glanced at her attacker. Lilian york, athanasia's caretaker. The person Jennette came to meet. Lily looked drunk, she smelled like one and her eyes were bloodshot red.

Lily glared at Jennette. The shattered bottle in her hand, looking upon the girl. Eyes filled with fury. Motherly fury. "you are not her sister" the words cut through the girl like an arrow pearching through her chest. "you are just a pawn in his game. With no worth. Cast aside" Every word spoken by lily was sloppy, she was diffinately drunk. Jennette didn't even say anything. Neither did she found courage to say something. She just glanced at lily with eyes that wanted forgiveness. She was the one that took lily's child away from her.

"lily!?" a maid who entered screamt in horror as she pulled lily away from Jennette. The scream also made Jennette regain her senses. The bood was still pouring down her face. Covering it with red. "lily are you insane! You could have killed her!" the maid yelled at her.

Lily didn't reply with anything. Her eyes were fixed on Jennette. "kneel like her! She kneeled to Claude, asking for his love! But he didn't give it to her! Because of you" lily yelled out. Jennette blinked, her heartburning at the statement "all that girl wanted was love! You took it from her!"

Jennette stared at the ground as a few more maids came by and pulled lily inside a room before she could do any more harm. A maid came to her side aiding her and apologizing for lily's actions. Jennette didn't say anything back. Still staring at the ground in silence.

Jennette left the ruby place after her head of bandaged. She left without talking to Lily. She didn't get to apologize. Maybe she could try to tomorrow. The walk towards the palace was slow for her as time seemed to choose not to work around her.

Jennette glanced at the graveyard that held Claude's dead body. Maybe she should go and give her regards. She wasn't expecting but wasn't surprised to find Felix. Jennette glanced at the man who was mindlessly glaring at his emperors grave. Jennette felt another shot of Guilt inside her. It wasn't as bad as she felt with lily but it was still there.

Jennette with a soft hum made her presence known she was quickly greeted by the man's full attention. Felix's emotionless glance to her, filled her with unwanted guilt. The man before her was broken. A man with no purpose. Jennette felt as if she was breaking him more just by her presence alone. They stared at each other in silence. Millions of words being spoken in pure silence

Jennette felt like the man in front of her didn't blame her. His eyes looked gentle with grief. With a swift nod, Felix turned around and left Jennette alone in the grave yard.
