Keefe Sencen

I had my airpods in. I was driving home with Fitz. We were currently in his car with some of the other guys. Tam had declined the ride. We were gonna head to Stina's party soon. I pulled up to the huge house which was the Vackers. I pulled out my airpods and picked up my school bag, my art supplies spilling over. I groaned and carried them all in fists in my hands.

"Any idea who you're gonna take to the senior dance K?" Fitz asked, coming around to my side of the car.

"No, not really." I shrugged. "I might not go."

Fitz's jaw dropped. "Keefe you HAVE to go. This is our last school dance. Just ask some rando girl if you can't get the balls to ask Sophie."

I groaned. "Shut up. I'm not going because I don't want to. Dances are stupid anyway."

Fitz scoffed. "Come on. I'm taking Marella. Biana is looking for a date, you should ask Sophie."

I stalled. "What happened to Song? Didn't he ask her? Wasn't he planning to?"

Fitz sighed. "He chickened out at lunch. Anyway let's just go inside."

I stuffed my stuff in my bag and ran to the door touching it before Fitz did.

"Ha! I'm unbeatable." I gloated. We walked inside to find Biana pacing.

"What's up drama?" I grinned.

"I'm planning to ask Jensi to the dance! I'm getting desperate, slap me!"

"Gladly!" Fitz beamed, mocking her.

Biana gave him an unamused look and kept pacing.

"Why don't you ask Tam?" I said nonchalantly

She huffed and turned to me. "You're an idiot. He hates me."

I whistled "Okayyyyy"

I chuckled at Biana's insistence that Tam hates her, but then again, Tam has a reputation for being cold and aloof. Maybe there is some truth to it.

Fitz continued to insist that I should ask Sophie, but I resisted his suggestion. It's not that I'm afraid to ask Sophie out, it's just that I'm not interested in going to the dance at all. I don't see the point in fake romance and frivolous parties.

"Let's just get ready for Stina's stupid party." I laughed. "It's still a party anyway i guess and i'll get to flirt soooo I'll go."

Fitz threw his bag laughing to which I caught in a fit of laughter.

"Did you see Stina's locker?" I sobered up. "That shit was hilarious. The pink sparkly paint was EVERYWHERE."

"Wonder who did it!" Fitz chuckled.

Biana averted her eyes but I said nothing.

I watched as Biana's eyes darted away from me. Hmmm, that's odd. I wonder if she knows who vandalized Stina's locker. It was definitely the highlight of the week, seeing the normally composed and put-together Stina struggle to keep it together. I couldn't help but chuckle at the memory.

"Anyway," I said, clearing my throat. "Who wants to play Mario Party? I'm feeling like beating Fitz's ass again."

Fitz rolled his eyes. "You do realize I let you win sometimes, right?"

"Ah, the old "let you win" argument," I mocked. "That's rich. But sure, let's keep the charade going. I'll pretend to be impressed next time you manage to come in third place."

Fitz scoffed and punched my arm lightly. "You're on, Keefe. You're going down this time."

"Please," I smirked, grabbing the game controllers. "You know the moment someone picks Yoshi, the party's over. And that's me."

Fitz grabbed one of the controllers, shaking his head. "Maybe in your dreams, Sencen."

"Oh, the dreams are very real, fitzy-boy," I shot back, putting the game into the console. "Prepare to watch Yoshi's victory dance... again."

Biana rolled her eyes. "You two and your competitive games. You're both hopeless. We need to get ready for the party! You two are my ride."

"And you're colon disease." Fitz shot back.

I twisted my head giving him an incredulous look.

He shrugged. "They both can wait."

I shook my head. "No.... just no."

Biana pouted. "Come on guys."

"Fine, fine, let's get going." I said, rolling my eyes. "But I fully expect to hear your opinion on all the cute girls at the party." I wiggled my eyebrows and grinned.

Fitz chuckled and Biana huffed in annoyance. "We all know you'll flirt with everyone as usual, Keefe."

A bit later they were all ready for Stina's party and were ready to go

Our trio piled into Fitz's car, the radio blasting some random pop songs. Biana sat shotgun, and I rode in the back, as usual. The car ride to Stina's party was filled with Fitz and I bantering and Biana rolling her eyes. As much as she pretended to be annoyed with our constant jokes, I knew she secretly enjoyed our company.

We finally arrived at Stina's house and were hit by the loud music and colorful lights spilling from inside. The place was packed with students from our school, and I could already see a few familiar faces.

My eyes scanned the room until they landed on a group of girls. I smirked.

"Now that's what I call a good party." I muttered.

Fitz followed my gaze and rolled his eyes. "You're such a player, Keefe. You'd flirt with a rock just for the fun of it."

"Ah, but a rock wouldn't be nearly as exciting to flirt with, Fitz." I grinned, finally tearing my gaze from the girls.

As I turned away, my eyes met Sophie's. There was no doubt she was the most beautiful girl at the party. But as much as I found her attractive, I wasn't going to let myself fall into the game of school crushes and romantic cliches.

"Who's up for a game of truth or dare?" Fitz interrupted, breaking the tension. Biana's eyes lit up instantly. "Ooh, that sounds fun!"

I groaned. "Seriously guys? Truth or dare? Sounds like a bunch of childish nonsense to me."

"Come on Keefe, it'll be fun!" Biana pleaded. "And besides, you get to kiss someone!"

I rolled my eyes but secretly, I was hoping I'd get to kiss Sophie. She was the only person in this room I was remotely interested in.

As the game got underway and the dares started to get wilder, I found myself distracted. My eyes kept wandering to the door where I'd spotted Sophie earlier. She really was beautiful. But then, something caught my eye.

It was Daphne, accompanied by Stina. They had just joined the game and soon Sophie sat down too.

Stina and Daphne had grown closer obviously, they were whispering and laughing, it was as if she had replaced Biana. No, that's silly. Daph wouldn't do that on purpose.

As I took my turn, daring Fitz to drink a mixture of sour and sweet juices, I couldn't help but notice Sophie's laughter blending with Daphne's. My eyes darted between them.

But soon....

"Keefe. Truth or Dare?" Stina spoke up her red painted lips in a cruel smirk looking between Sophie, Daphne and myself.
