And now, as she sat amidst the boxes packed with memories of her childhood, Minji couldn't shake the feeling of displacement.

As if dealing with the pain of her mother's passing wasn't enough, Minji was thrown into a whirlwind of confusion and uncertainty when she found out about the contents of her mother's will.

Her mother's will had contained a clause that felt like a thunderclap in her already turbulent life – she was to leave her home in Korea and relocate to India to live with her relatives there.

Relatives that she wasn't aware she had. Apparently her mother has a second cousin (her aunt Hyejin), who had married an Indian man, and they had a daughter about her age. They lived there in the city of Bangalore and Minji was to move to that place.

India.

The thought sent a shiver down Minji's spine. She had never been to India, and the idea of leaving behind everything she knew was daunting but she couldn't ignore her mother's wishes.

With a heavy heart, she began to accept the reality of her new life to come.

Over the next few days, Minji made the necessary arrangements for her journey. She said her farewells to the few friends she had made, each goodbye feeling like a dagger to her heart.

The girl had sent a message to Jisung, hoping that his number had remained the same throughout their couple years without contact but it was to no avail.

Either he had a new phone number or he was ignoring her (the former seemed the better option).

Not wanting to lose time moping, she packed her belongings, taking only the essentials and leaving behind the memories of her past life.

The day of her departure arrived all too soon.

Standing at the airport with her suitcase in hand, Minji took one last look at the familiar sights of Seoul.

She knew that this was not just a journey to a new country but a journey to a new chapter of her life, one that would be filled with challenges and uncertainties.

As she boarded the plane bound for India, the korean girl couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and excitement swirling inside her.

She didn't know what the future held, but she was determined to honor her mother's wishes and make the most of the new opportunities that awaited her in her ancestral homeland.

With a deep breath, she closed her eyes.

"New life, here i come" she whispered before moving on.

Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally.
