"my brave boy promise me...that you will always protect your sister....promise me gaurav "

"yeshh...papa.." gaurav said..still trying to figure out what was happening...

" I will always be proud of you my son...mera gaurav )

With that devender went out...

Anjali opened the door and there were some mafia's who came inside pushing anjali aside

M1(MAFIA 1) -: so you cowards came here to this vacation house...after losing your kingdom....gives those papers now..

devender -: we dont have them...please leave

M2-: hmm..acting smart huh * took out his gun and started to fire on the ground*

Anjali ran towards devender and hugged him tightly and devender also wrapped his arms around her to keep her safe

Anjali-: leave us alone...

M2-: hmm....fine

M1-: we heard you hve two children....* with eyes signalled his guards to search

Anjali-: leave my children alone...touch them and I will kill you

The guards heald Anjali and devender while the other two guards went to search the kids and then found....ruhi snuggling into gaurav's arm and crying miserably while gaurav tries his best to not let the voice come out...seeing the guards gaurav hid ruhi behind him...

G1-: huh...this kid is acting brave huh * slaps gaurav harshly making his lips bleed and he fell on the ground *

Both the guards dragged the kids out of the room like animals...ruhi was trembling badly...crying and shouting loudly

Anjali * on her knees * -: please leave my kids..dont do anything to them....

M1-: then give us those papers and money

devender -: we dont have them...

M2 -: fine

WARNING -: HARSH VIOLENCE AHEAD SKIP IF YOU WANT

With that he started beating ruhi and gaurav with belt until they bleed badly..while anjali and devender screamed and shouted

devender -: fine I will tell you where the papers are

With that devender gave them those papers...

devender -: now leave us..

But....the mafia's laughed...

M1-: haha you think we will leave someone like you huh...we will have a lot of fun with you and your fucking wife

devender punched him in the face

devender -: dont you fucking dare to touch my wife you bastered

The mafias and devender fought badly and anjali saw the chance to save the kids but before she could reach them one of the mafias grabbed ruhi by her hair and kept a big khanjar on her neck...which caused the fight to stop...

devender -: leave my daughter

But it was too late...the mafia slit her throat not tol deeply and some blood splashed on gaurav's face who was tied down on the ground...this made him tremble badly....ruhi dropped on thd ground....seeing this anjali fell on her knees and crawled towards she was a crying mess...she tried to check if ruhi is still alive...there was a little pulse...but the mafia hit anjali on her head which made her fa on the ground...and he took ruhi...and threw...her from balcony

gaurav -: " RUHIIIIII"

Anjali-: "meriii bacchiiiiii " she was crying and shouting like a mad person....and the other mafia...shot devender multiple times...on of the mafia's opened gaurav....and he quickly ran towards...devender

" papa......"

Anjali ran and took devender in her arms

devender -: " anjali...take gaurav...and ru..n away....run...I love you anjali....save yourself...and gaurav "....

anjali kept crying and screaming madly....seeing this gaurav was trembling and crying

"papa uthiye na "

"maa papa...ki uthiye na..."

anjali looked up...her face was covered with devender's blood she took...gaurav in her arms...and ran out of the door...

"papa...mujhey papa key paas jana hai"

"ruhi...its all my fault...sorry papa..I broked ky promise..."

A mother running on streets with a child in ber arms...in a stormy rain...in dark night....

" ruhi....papa...Its all my fault...I can never forgive myself...I wish I could go back in that time and correct everything "

(end of flashback )

With that gaurav opened his eye...which was puffy and red due to crying...he had sweats on his forehead...he was still on the floor looking like a mess..

He sat and hugged his knees

" I could have protected them..and her...."

" I wish I didn't go outside that day....it was all my fault ....why didn't they kill me too"

gaurav rubbed his eyes and wiped his tears...traced his fingers on his shoulder's....on his scars...

Then he remembered how he talked to astha...

"I am soo sorry astha..."

It wasn't his fault....he was feeling dizzy and pain all over his body....so his anger burst out...only he know how difficult it was for him to drive till here

" I am sorry...I always disappoint everyone "

He hugged his knees and buried his head into them.....

And kept crying...and regretting...

Past is something which can never heal...you just find something new to focus on....you keep yourself so busy...that you think you have healed from your past...but its just you are ignoring it...or atleast you are trying.....a thing or past or person will hurt you badly as long as you love it....but in past there are some people you love the most and will always keep loving them...so these pain can never heal....
