𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄, 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝟏 {𝐉𝐚𝐲}

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

    "Really proud of her," Evie smiled at Mal . I look at them shocked, their rambling on about hair while my girlfriend is currently within breathing distance of Harry hook and Marina Feeler . I cleared my throat, with a borderline confused expression

      "Hello?" Carlos exclaimed, causing Mal, Evie and Gia to look at us, confused. Carlos gave them the look.

     "Right," Evie whispered.

"Gia, Jay, Carlos, you guys meet us at Pirates Bay, no later than noon. And you guys losing, not an option. Cause we're rotten..." Mal Instructed us and I nod sternly

     "To the core," The rest of us finished.

"Let's do this," Evie said as we all left the hideout and split up.

GIA, CARLOS, AND I RUSHED INTO the dormitory and Dude and Beignet run out "Oh, I'm sorry I'm so late, Dude." Carlos picks up dude while Beignet jumps into Gia's arms

"Ben got captured." Gia explained and took a step towards the door "-Don't." I place my hand on her shoulder and stop her from walking in "Why is our door open?" I look at Carlos and Gia and him simultaneously walk towards the door

"You've got to be kidding me." Gia groaned at the sight of Chad "I knocked." Chsd chuckled nervously "Go on, Dude." Carlos set the dog down "You too, B." Gia dropped Beignet and they both scurry to the beds, Dude's to Carlos's , Beignet to mine

"What even is that?" Gia raises an eyebrow in question "Oh." Chad laughs "That's a little Chad action figure. Zoom!" Chad chuckles "Well, minus the head." Chad outed "Sounds like an improvement. Excuse me." I nudge Chad out of the way

"All right. Here we go." I sigh pulling out my phone , I connect a picture of fairy godmothers wand

"Why are you guys making Fairy Godmother's wand?" Chad gasps making all of us turn around

"Oh." Carlos widened his eyes "Uh, why are we making Fairy Godmother's wand?" I nudge Gia, she's good at coming up with on the spot lies

"Uh, roleplay?" Gia said more like a question then a confident answer "Ben and Eva's been captured!" Beignet and Dude exclaim at the same time

"What! The dogs can talk?" Chad looked at the dogs in shock "I was stalling." Carlos scolded the two "We thought you forgot!" Beignet defended before laying down

"Don't tell anyone!" I push chads shoulder
"Ben's and more importantly Eva's life depends on it." I scold Chad who lets out a disbelieving smile "Really? So, if something were to happen, you know what I'm saying..." Chad trailed off

"Something bad, we get it." Gia furrows her brows in annoyance. Chad lets out another chuckle "God forbid."

"But if something were to happen, who do you think would be in line to be king? And who would be my royal advisor?" Chad asked with a gleam in his eyes

"Is it me, or is that in really poor taste?" I scoff walking towards the door holding my arm out infront of it

"I'm taking this." Chad pushed the action figure in Carlos and Gia's faces "And if you think I—" I cut Chad's statement off slamming the door in his face

"Thank you, Jay." Carlos turned back to the printer. "Let's hurry up so we can save my girlfriend." I state coldly

     "And Ben." Gia raises a brow "Oh, yeah, him too." I wave her off.

WE WERE ALL PEACEFULLY SLEEPING, Me on the left , Carlos on the right, Gia sprawled out across us, as if she's a lawn chair — I feel bad for Holden, Christ.

The machine beeps and I stir awake to see the phony wand done , I hit Carlos's shoulder , but he doesn't budge "Carlos!" I whisper shout "Hmm?" He hums stirring awake , I nudge Gia's legs and she wakes up , and slides to the floor slowly "That — I'm not gonna mention it." I shake my head

"Not bad." I hum in satisfaction "Yeah." Gia nods in agreement as she pops off the floor

"Let's go." Carlos said and I nod, we head towards the door and I see Gia looking at a tourney picture with Carlos, Kenneth, Holden, Ben , and I "Gia! We gotta go." I sighs me she looks at the picture one more time and nods "Let's go. Yeah. Let's go." She repeats and heads towards the door after us

"Hey, guys. What about me?" Dude asked from the floor

"No, Dude. You stay. I'm serious. Stay." Carlos points at the dog sternly "Well Eva got kidnapped! She's gonna want her favorite companion there!" Beignet acknowledged walking towards me, I kneel down and stop her by pushing her nose "Her favorite person is gonna be there, me." I assure the dog

"I was talking about me hunks!" The dog snapped and I raise an eyebrow "Stay." I tell her

Both dogs simultaneously whine "I love you, buddy. We'll be back before you know it." Carlos said with a smile as dude whined again

We hurry outside and get met with Doug, and Gia snatches the wand from me and hides it behind her back "Oh, hey, have you seen Evie?"

"Uh..." Carlos started and turned to Gia.

"She went camping." Gia answered quickly , way more confident than last time "Evie-I-want-to- live-in-a-castle sleeping on the ground with no place to plug in a hair dryer?" Doug questioned with a puzzled expression

Gia laughs to ease Doug's nerves "She was feeling spontaneous , and she said we called her prissy to much for her liking." Gia smiles and Doug lets out a low chuckle

"Yeah. Totally. Totally." Doug said before we started walking backwards slowly "Later, Doug." I called out before Gia slowly hands me the wand

"I'm coming with you guys." McKenna's Voice rings in our ears and we turn around quickly "What?" I laugh at the sight of both Kenna and Holden

"We don't need swords and arrows at the...Waffle Hut." I clear my throat at the lie and earn a disbelieving stare from Carlos "Yeah, A little Vk late night waffle craving, you know how much I love waffles." Gia adds to the lie to make it a little more believable, but I can see Holden's face twist .

"Gia Gothel, are you lying to me?" Holden narrows his eyes at Gia. I can see Gia withering under his stare "Yes!" She exclaims and flings herself into his arms, and he chuckles as he catches her "I'm so sorry! I'll never , ever try and lie to you again! I just didn't want you to get hurt." She peers up at him with the biggest apologetic eyes.

Holden places a kiss on her forehead and Gia smiles warmly "Weakling." I cough and Gia glares at me "Oh hush it." She waves me off

"You're so going to the Isle to rescue Ben and Eva." McKenna says folding her arms over her chest , I just stare at her "Look, it's either you take us or I'm gonna have to tell Fairy Godmother." She blackmails and I groan

"Your so lucky your Eva's friend." I complained

"Okay!" She exclaimed with a beaming smile throwing her arms around Gia, "What happened to gloomy McKenna, this one's to cheery." Gia complained.
