Kinn pov

I thrust back and forth until I woke up with a jolt
I panted hard

I sighed
Okay just another nightmare
It's all good

Then a loud thunder boomed and I jumped
I groaned why does this wing has to be the one not soundproof (meaning the wing cannot hear anything outside in all parts of the manor)

It's been a few days and hia is resting up well
Although he is still giving me a the silent treatment and the world's hardest and harshest glare
I shiver everytime I see his eyes

Hia has been working hard to make sure he gets better fast enough so he can be able to take over as head of the family
I heard a knock on my door and I look up to see vegas coming In

I look at him confused "still awake"
Vegas nods "Tankhun ordered pete to be a bodyguard for a little while long so pete is looking after him right now"

I hum understanding

The thunder rumble again and I once again jumped
Vegas laugh "Hah still afraid of the thunder" he snickers
I glared at him "you're afraid of snakes" I quipped back
It's his turn to glare at me
"Nuh uh"

The thunder rumbles once more and then I heard another knock "hey phi, thought I come to keep you company" Kim beams as he walks in
I look at him shock "really not tankhun" I questioned

He shook his head "I think he had enough people watching over him"

"Speaking of, why is he making bodyguards do that, he doesn't think anything will happen overnight right" I questioned but both of them shrugs

"You know how tankhun gets when he gets a feeling about something"
Vegas nodded then look out the window "it's raining hard, the last time this happened was a month ago and tankhun was put on life support, maybe he is just being more wary of rainy days" vegas shrugs again

That does seem reasonable
And it does ease my mind that tankhun is being protected

At least someone is protecting him unlike me
I failed him
I don't deserve to be the heir

Which is why I let him have it so fast
We all agreed that vegas was a temporary head until tankhun wakes up

And now that he is and doing fine off of life support
He is taking over the family business
Wait if he's taking over the business then wouldn't he know about the child trafficking papa been doing

My eyes widen as I realized these things
Oh no, hias gonna find out the real truth

He's gonna know what pa been doing to me
I should stop him from looking at those paperworks
But before I can go anywhere I was stopped by two worried and concerned looks

I waved them off "it's nothing, I have to go, go back to your rooms"
I tried to hurriedly stand but kim held onto me " no! We agreed no more secrets now what's going on" he demands

He's right and so I told him and vegas everything that pa did to make sure I stay loyal to make sure I become the powerful heir

Further into my explanation I see their eyes getting angrier and Angrier
"HE DID WHAT" vegas angerly shouted
"He took me to some audit thing and made me go figure out what will happen if I ever betrayed him" I explained now looking down

"Now I wish I could've spit on that oldies urn" vegas mutters angerly
But I shook my head "there's nothing you could've done besides uncle did worst right" I asked to which vegas nods

Kim was about to speak when all of the sudden the door burst open and pete rushed in and then he grabbed his hair "he's not here either" he panics
Vegas went to hold pete "ter what's wrong"
Pete looks at him eyes wide and frantic "tankhun is gone... he's I don't know someone just up and took him"

"What!?" We all exclaimed
But then Porsche came in "arm checked the security cameras, they went to the family library, common weapon up" he rushes out followed by pete

Vegas groans "why is it always the family library" he said as he rushes after the other two with me and Kim following

As soon as we reaches the door se slowly open it and confused when we saw tankhun in the middle of the room
"Tankhun you're not harmed yet" Vegas slowly asked confused
But tankhun didn't answer he just look at us with feared eyes

Then we heard a familiar voice

"Hello family" we heard from behind
We look to the side to see chay aiming at us with his gun smirking with Macau by his side glaring

We gasped at the sight of them

What in the world is going on!?!?!
