Part 33

The next day, after the best sleep ever I wake up to Leah getting up.
Leah: "stay in bed, im going to make some breakfast. Isla's asleep, she's been fed and changed so don't worry okay"
She kisses me. I get Isla out of her cot and lay her on my chest. She looks so peaceful right now. I pick up my phone and see tonnes of messages from the arsenal and England girls. I've had a few missed calls from Lucy. I call her.
Lucy: "hey sis, how's my niece doing?"
I point the camera towards Isla.
Lucy: "y/n she's perfect. I'm so proud of you"
Y/n: "she really is perfect"
Lucy: "the girls are all saying congratulations, they can't wait to meet her"
Y/n: "she'll be at the final"
Lucy: "she will?"
Y/n: "I'm not missing my wife and sister make history, if the boys and I are going, then she's going"
Lucy: "I can't wait to meet her. I've got to go, got a tactics meeting, I'll call you later okay?"
Y/n: "okay Luce, I love you"
Lucy: "love you too, talk soon"

The call ends. Isla is still sound asleep on me when Leah brings breakfast up to me.
Leah: "let me take her so you can eat something"
Y/n: "I love you, you know that right?"
Leah: "I love you more"
Leah takes isla off me, she lays next to me cuddling her. They are so cute together.

It's now the afternoon and we are expecting Amanda, David, Jacob and the twins back any second.
Y/n: "I hope the boys love her"
Leah: "they will babe, I know they will"

A few minutes later, we are upstairs in our bedroom. I hear tiny footsteps running up the stairs.
The door opens and our boys heads pop round it.
Noah: "MAMA!"
Lucas: "MAMA!"
Leah hugs the boys tightly.
Leah: "shhh we have to be quiet."
Noah: "why?"
Leah: "because your little sister is asleep."
Lucas: "she's here?"
Leah: "yeah look at mummy, that's your baby sister"
The boys carefully climb on the bed.
Noah: "she's so cute"
Lucas: "can we hold her?"
Y/n: "of course you can"
Leah sits the boys in the same position and takes Isla from me. She helps them hold her head. Noah stares at her with so much love in her eyes.
Noah: "hello Isla"
I look at them both. I can tell they are going to be the best big brothers in the world.

Leah's family all come upstairs. Amanda holds Isla first, then David, then Jacob who is not happy he was last.

Amanda offers to stay with me to help with the boys since Leah has to go back to camp tonight.
She's getting ready to leave.
Leah: "I love you babe, you call me whenever you need me"
Y/n: "I'll be okay Le, don't worry. I'll see you in 5 days."
Leah: "5 days too many"
Y/n: "it'll all be worth it."
Leah kisses Isla's head, then kisses me slow and soft.
Leah: "I'll call you when I get back, the girls want to see her"
Y/n: "I bet they do"
Leah: "I love you both"
Leah leaves our room and I hear her say bye to the boys.
The boys run upstairs and come into my room.
Lucas: "mummyyyyy"
Noah: "mummmyyyy"
Y/n: "yes my little monsters?"
Noah: "can we hold Isla"
Y/n: "of course, she's asleep so we have to be quiet okay?"
The twins nod and climb onto the bed. They take turns holding her.
Noah: "I'll always protect you"
My heart melts at how gentle they are with her. Amanda comes into the room.
Amanda: "do you want me to take her so you can get a shower?"
Y/n: "that would be great, thank you"
Amanda takes Isla and the boys downstairs. I take a long shower and get dressed into a tracksuit. I go downstairs and the boys, yet again are holding her. I go into the kitchen and clean up the little mess that Leah made.
Amanda: "I'll do that sweetheart"
Y/n: "it's okay, you cuddle with your granddaughter"
Amanda nods and stays where she is.

Skipping to final day. At Wembley.
The boys are in their England kit. Isla is in an England babygrow. We still haven't announced that Isla is here yet but we are in a private box so no one will see us.

The crowd is buzzing, Wembley is sold out which is a great moment. The twins are so excited. I'm just feeding Isla at the moment whilst the boys look out of the window at their mum warming up. Isla starts waking up so I take her to the window so see what's going on. Amanda takes a photo and sends me it. I decide to post it on instagram.

I get some comments but don't reply to them.

The game starts and it's really tense. Leah's playing well.
England end up winning. The boys are going nuts. Everyone is so happy. My wife has lead England to the top of the world. I've never been so happy.
Watching Leah lifting that trophy is the best feeling in the world.
Me, and the family walk down to the pitch side. The girls are all celebrating hard. Leah sees me and runs over. She hugs me so tightly.
Y/n: "you did it baby. You did it!"
Leah: "I did it, for our family"
The twins run onto the pitch and Leah takes Isla off me.
Leah: "hello my perfect girl"
Leah kisses her cheek and cuddles her tightly.
Noah: "MAMA MAMA!"
Leah turns around and Noah kicks the ball into the net. The crowd roar for him. He's going to be a star one day.

After a while of celebrating and everyone fussing over Isla we get home. Leah is away for one more night. One more night then we are a family of 5.
The twins are so tired so they crash right away.
I'm in bed feeding isla and Leah calls me.
Leah: "hey baby"
Y/n: "hi"
Leah: "just calling to tell you I love you."
Y/n: "I love you more, world champion"
Leah: "I'm never going to forget this"
Y/n: "I won't either, neither will the boys"
Leah: "I can't wait to be home with you all"
Y/n: "we can't wait for you to be home, the boys miss you"
Leah: "where's my girl?"
I point the camera towards Isla.
Leah: "god I miss her, she's so sweet."
Y/n: "she is, just like her mama"
Leah: "I better go, the girls are all shouting me."
Y/n: "I'll see you tomorrow, I love you"
Leah: "I love you too"

The call ends, I put Isla in her cot and she falls asleep straight away. I fall asleep pretty quickly too.

The next day Leah comes home. The boys cling onto her all day. She's hungover which I laugh at. She cuddles Isla and the boys all day. She's missed them so much. She needed a lazy day.

The twins are in bed and Isla is sound asleep next to us.
I'm cuddled into Leah, I never want to let her go.
Leah: "I've missed you so much"
Y/n: "I've missed you so much more"
Leah: "I love you"
Y/n: "I love you"
Leah kisses me softly before drifting off to sleep.
