I woke up to find Aiden looking at me with a smile. "Morning, princess," he greeted. I groaned and turned away, not feeling particularly cheerful. "Not in a good mood, are you?" he teased, pulling me towards him by the waist to make me face him.

Despite my efforts, I couldn't hide the blush creeping up my cheeks. "No... Dad is not changing his mind about the company... stocks have dropped and my DM's have been flooded by people asking me to change his mind..." I explained with another groan.

"Your life is starting to sound depressing," he remarked with a chuckle. I shot him a sidelong glance and buried my face in a pillow, muttering, "It always was." He gently removed the pillow from my face and grinned, "You look adorable when you're sleeping," he said, his tone flirtatious. I slapped his chest and mumbled, "Oh, shut it."

Aiden laughed softly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Come on, cheer up, princess," he said, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "We'll figure it out together, okay?"

I sighed, feeling a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips despite myself. "Okay," I relented, leaning into his touch. "Thanks, Aiden."

He leaned in closer, his breath warm against my ear. "Anytime, princess," he whispered, sending shivers down my spine.

Aiden's closeness made my heart race as I remained in bed, still lying down. "You know," he continued, his voice soft and soothing, "sometimes the biggest challenges lead to the greatest opportunities."

I looked up at him, his eyes filled with a reassuring warmth that melted away some of the tension I had been carrying. "Yeah, you're right," I admitted, feeling a glimmer of hope.

Aiden gently brushed his fingers through my hair, his touch sending a wave of comfort through me. "We'll get through this together, I promise," he said earnestly. I smiled up at him, grateful for his presence and his relentless support. "I'm lucky to have you," I confessed softly, feeling a sense of peace settle over me in his embrace.

As Aiden leaned in, his lips inches away from mine, a soft knock sounded at the door. Dammit. We both froze, our moment interrupted by my mom's gentle voice. "Good morning, sweetie. Are you awake?" Mom called from the other side of the door.

Aiden and I exchanged a quick, disappointed glance before I called back, "Yes, Mom, I'm awake."

The door creaked open, and Mom stepped into the room, her eyes bright with warmth as she noticed us. "Oh, I hope I'm not interrupting anything," she said with a playful smile. Aiden chuckled nervously, shifting his position slightly. "No, not at all," he assured her, trying to hide his disappointment.

Mom's gaze softened as she approached the bed. "I just wanted to remind you both that breakfast is ready downstairs whenever you're ready," she said, her tone gentle. "Thank you, Mom," I replied, giving her a grateful smile. Aiden nodded in agreement. "Yes, thank you, Ms. Potts."

Mom returned our smiles before retreating from the room, leaving Aiden and me alone once again. As the door closed behind her, we shared a knowing look, silently acknowledging the moment that had been interrupted.

Once we were alone again, Aiden let out a soft sigh, his gaze lingering on mine. "Well, it seems like breakfast is calling," he said, his tone light but tinged with a hint of disappointment.

I nodded, a small smile playing on my lips. "Yeah, I guess we better go down before Mom starts worrying," I replied, sitting up in bed and running a hand through my hair.

Aiden replicated my movements, sitting up beside me. "I'll meet you downstairs," he said, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on my cheek before getting up from the bed.

I couldn't help but blush at the gesture, feeling a rush of warmth spread through me. "Okay," I said softly, watching him leave the room with a fond smile.

As I got out of bed, I made my way to the bathroom to freshen up and change into something comfortable. While changing, my mind couldn't help but wander to what might have happened if Mom hadn't interrupted us...

Aiden decided to stay until evening, as his dad was tied up with work and his brother was out with friends. He mentioned that his driver would pick him up later in the evening. Throughout the day, we filled the hours with meaningful conversations, laughter, and shared experiences.

We started by chatting over breakfast, exchanging stories and discussing our plans for the day. Then, we settled in to watch a couple of movies and snuggled up on the couch with blankets and popcorn.

In the afternoon, we pampered on a relaxing spa day, taking turns spoiling each other with facemasks, massages, and soothing music playing in the background. Afterwards, we decided to go on a shopping spree, exploring boutiques and browsing through racks of clothes, exchanging opinions and laughter as we tried on different outfits.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the dog park, accompanied by the playful barks and wagging tails of our furry friends. We watched as they chased each other around, enjoying the simple pleasure of being outdoors together.

As the sunset painted the sky with shades of orange and pink, we decided to head to the balcony to enjoy the evening and have a conversation. Aiden and I started talking about everything and nothing, the conversation flowing easily between us. The soft evening breeze played with strands of my hair as we shared stories, dreams, and laughter.

He walked towards me, cupping my cheeks gently. "Y/N, you are beautiful... I know we've only recently met, but I want you to be my girlfriend," he confessed. I was rendered momentarily speechless but filled with happiness. "I'd love to, Aiden," I smiled and hugged him, savouring the warmth of the moment.

He gently lifted my chin, his lips hovering close to mine when we were suddenly interrupted once more. But this interruption was far from ordinary. Something, or someone, flew out of the garage.

"Am I seeing things, or did you just see a Tin Man flying out of your garage...?" Aiden asked, his gaze fixed on the direction the 'tin man' had gone.

"Oh. My. God," was all that escaped my lips as I processed the unexpected sight.

Aiden glanced at me, but then his attention was diverted by a notification on his phone. "I have to go. My driver's here... See you later, princess," he said, leaving a kiss on my cheek before hurrying off.

I couldn't help but smile in response to Aiden's farewell before turning my attention back to where the Tin man, who turned out to be my dad, had gone. "What the hell is Dad doing...?" I muttered to myself as he flew higher into the sky. Suddenly, I gasped as I watched his suit deactivate, causing him to descend rapidly toward the ground. "Oh, shit!" I exclaimed, my heart racing.

Moments later, I saw him flying again and landing on the roof before disappearing. "Where the hell did he go?" I questioned aloud as I rushed back inside the house.

To my horror, I discovered three massive holes, extending from the roof down to the living room and into the workshop. "My piano!" I gasped in frustration, feeling a surge of anger coursing through me. Determined, I stormed downstairs to the workshop, my steps echoing with each stride.

As I entered, my eyes fell upon Dad atop one of his cars, which was now crushed beneath him, the suit still illustrating his form.

"You owe me big time..." I muttered.
