The sound of the music resonated, and Hiya felt Ahil's breath so close, her ears turning slightly red. Numbing down with the affectionate closeness, she lost her grip on the rolling pin and it fell to the floor.
Observing her paused action, Ahil, softly noting her hesitation, asked, "Why did you stop... Am I some kind of monster that you're scared of me?"

"N... No... The bread is ready, and now I need to change."

"Change? You've already changed everything." Ahil expressed affection by placing a gentle kiss on her neck.

Hiya's heart skipped a beat, causing a momentary hesitation even in her speech, "N... No, I mean, I need to take a shower.”

“Shower later, what's the hurry?" Saying this, he swiftly turned her around and, within seconds, leaned down to capture her lips. He continued to hold her close, satisfying his thirst with the sweetness of her kiss. Meanwhile, she was trying to find a way to free herself from his strong embrace.

After the kiss, he looked at her with concern and asked, "What's wrong? You seem very troubled."

"Ch...change!" As she reminded him of the need to change, he released his hold, and she hurriedly escaped from the kitchen to her room.

Most of the kitchen work was already done by Hiya, so partly due to this reason, she left the kitchen. Ahil, still smiling, followed her straight into her room. As he entered, Hiya descended once again.

Ahil, unaware of why Hiya was rushing away, diverted his thoughts and checked the time. Hastily, he went to get ready. A short while later, he descended the stairs in a sophisticated brown three-piece suit. Noticing Hiya setting the breakfast table, he silently admired her efforts.

Hiya, clad in her white apron, quietly arranged the meal as if she were a servant. Ahil, perceptive of her presence, motioned for her to take a seat. Despite this, she remained standing.

Seated at the table, Ahil, with curiosity, remarked, "Hiya, don't you want to have breakfast? Why are you just staring at my food?" As he started eating, he encouraged her to join him. "You cook really well, and this kheer... Loved it!" he expressed, appreciating the delightful taste after taking a satisfying bite.

"Not that good, just have an interest in everything," Hiya replied modestly as Ahil continued to watch her eat. Suddenly, he pulled her towards him and playfully said, "No need to sit on the chair... come, sit on my lap. After all, I've heard that a wife is no less than a child... my little child!" Smiling, he fed her a bite of the aloo paratha as she sits on his lap.

He fed her with so much love that for a few moments, she forgot everything, lost in his care. "If this person is like this every day, how beautiful life would be?" she thought.

While lost in her thoughts, Ahil teased her, "Now, if you look at me so intensely, things might go wrong." Startled by his words, she quickly said, "S...sorry!" He lightly smiled at her apology and once again fed her with his hands. After feeding her, he held the bowl of kheer, looking at her, and said, "Now, you feed me.”

Hearing his suggestion, she nervously clutched the bowl of kheer, and he playfully started eating from her hands. Despite her initial hesitation, she began to enjoy the playful exchange, both of them sharing moments of laughter and affection.

As Ahil finished his breakfast, he lifted Hiya from his lap, preparing to leave for the office after pecking her cheeks. When his legs suddenly stopped and turning towards her, he suggested, "Hiya, take off this suit and wear a saree; I think it will suit you more.” His compliment left her cheeks rosy red as she blushes hard and looks down making him chuckle at her cute expression.

The tranquility of the evening enveloped Hiya as she perched on the rooftop, delicately sipping her tea. The sunlight painted the world below in a palette of pink and gold, casting a serene glow. This picturesque scene, a fusion of rose-tinted hues and the gleam of precious metals, resonated deeply within her, providing a profound sense of calm.

Hiya's affinity for nature had been a constant in her life, an enduring love that transcended ordinary days. There were periods when the sun's radiance remained unseen by her for months, its daily ascent and descent becoming mere mysteries.

On a particular day, seemingly unremarkable yet profoundly transformative, the contrast between the earthly and celestial realms struck her. In those potentially harrowing moments, the present stood out as remarkably favorable—she was not confined by anyone or anything. Her movements were dictated solely by her own desires, offering the freedom to roam, converse with others, and bask beneath the expansive sky. The very contemplation of this newfound liberty brought a radiant smile to her lips.

As she absorbed the fading crimson hues of the setting sun, Hiya lost track of time. Unbeknownst to her, the transition from day to night had seamlessly occurred. There she sat, gently swaying on the swing, already succumbing to the cradle of sleep amid the enchanting embrace of the evening.

Ahil rushed home today, buoyed by his excellent mood. Upon his arrival, his first instinct was to find Hiya. Oddly, she remained elusive, prompting him to contemplate if she might be in her room. Entering the room, he found it vacant, intensifying his perplexity. Seeking answers, Ahil turned to his household servant, but even she was clueless about Hiya's whereabouts.

The servant, responding with a measured demeanor, elucidated, "Young master, we went to the market for grocery shopping as per Mrs. Hiya's instructions. She expressed her desire to prepare something special for your dinner tonight. However, upon our return, she was conspicuously absent from the house."

After absorbing the servant's detailed account, Ahil sought clarification, "Does this imply that Hiya didn't have the opportunity to cook the meal?”

The servant continued with a hint of uncertainty, "No, sir, if she was in house she would have cooked, I'm sure but she is not here. So, we assumed Madam might have gone out with you because she was wearing a beautiful saree and had put on light makeup. It seemed like she was ready to go out, so we thought she might have accompanied you."

Ahil, pondering the situation, asks the maid to go and contemplates deeply. Maybe she went to mom and dad's house? Should I call mom and ask about her whereabouts?
