"3rd main hanger" i ordered as the door closed and the turbolift started moving soon arriving at our destination exiting the turbolift i walked up to the glass that oversaw my ship docked
"beautiful, i didn't think i'd see the old girl until i had the resources to straight up rebuild her, but the fact she's here. simply beautiful" i said
"hey do you that ship more then me" ikuno said in mock annoyance, i knew she was just pulling my leg as i turned and kissed her
"you always, come on guys" i said as i led the way aboard the ship , i told the main crew that we brought with us to find their stations aboard, before leading the way to the main bridge, when i stepped onto the bridge everything started to move in slow motion as i made my way to the command chair of the bridge
"hello old friend" i said quietly, rei was the first to speak up as she took her station at tactical

"it is good to be home major" i replied
"what ranks were you in the military, or was it just colonel and major" ichigo asked curiously
"master, was a brigadier general, i was a vice admiral, we preferred to be referred to as colonel and major respectively however" rei responded as the ships main systems booted up
"bridge this is engineering, we found the engine room, main systems are coming back online, and are at your discretion captain" the parasite in charge of engineering said
"understood, thank you, we will be departing momentarily, so batten down the hatches" i said
"aye sir" came the reply, rei got a mischievous look in her eye that quite frankly i feared
"you don't intend to bring back that tradition do you rei" i asked
"what tradition" rei asked innocently, the glare she received was enough, she knew full well what i was talking about, but continued to feign innocence

"but even that wasn't enough, so she made it an unofficial rule that the commander in charge of a ship or battle group would be called quote 'your excellency' unquote, i tried to abolish that particular rule, but the higher-ranking officers liked it who wouldn't, but more annoyingly the lower ranking officers looked up to me, so didn't mind in the slightest either, rei was originally trying to set me up as the emperor of the entire nation, she almost succeeded, but i didn't want the responsibility so finally put my foot down and actively ordered her to stop, which she did, rei is nothing if not obedient, fortunately for me, i did not want or need that headache" i said
