' Prologue '

      
" It was just a prank, Han!"

I glanced at the sight of Josh and Chris passed out drunk, I laughed to myself turning my head towards Beth. I stood next to her she looked out the window.
"They're idiots, I swear," I smiled looking down at the counter I rested my hands on shaking my head before lifting back up.
"Wait, hey did you see that?" Beth asked very confused and concerned about what was outside as she leaned closer to get a better look. "See what?"
I looked over to her raising an eyebrow. "Dad said it would just be us this weekend." Beth said, continuing to look out the window.
"It was probably a deer Beth, nothin' serious." I looked at her giving her a weak smile. "Josh?" Beth turned walking away I followed closely behind her.
   I walked over to Josh who was passed out onto the counter I picked up the bottle next to him reading the label.

' JEREMIAH CRAGG '

  "Huh..." I continued to hold the bottle up, looking at Josh. Beth stood behind me looking over my shoulder taking the bottle from my hand.
   "Jeez Josh..." Beth patted Josh's shoulder as she took a look at the empty bottle before putting it back down. "Once again brother you've outdone us all." Beth laughed, as she patted his shoulder softer than before.
I laughed along with her before she turned walking towards the door. She stopped to see a note on the counter she flipped the note over reading it.

Hannah
You look so damn hot in that shirt... but I bet you're even hotter out of it.
Come to the guest room at 2.00 am ;)

"Hey Nikki, come here look at this." Beth waved her arm motioning for her to come her I read the note along with her. "God damnit..." I let out a long sigh.
"What'd our naive sister get herself into now?" Beth said, shaking her head in disbelief. I rubbed the bridge of my nose closing my eyes. Beth put down the note before looking back up at the window, to see Hannah running out into the storm.
Beth gasped quietly. "What?" I looked up at Beth curious to why she would gasp. "Wake up Josh." Beth said before running out the door, I heard her saying that someone was outside before I walked over to Josh trying to wake him up.

No luck I sighed before running to find Beth. I ran towards the group I stood in the doorway. "Hannah!" Sam called out into the blizzard, cupping her hands around her mouth.
"What's going on? Where's my sister going?" Beth questioned looking at everyone, trying to get an answer of where Hannah was going. "Ugh, it's fine...she just can't take a joke..." Jess said.

"It was just a prank, Han!" Emily yelled out. "What did you do?!?" Beth sounded angry, she looked at Mike before turning around.
"We were just messing around, Beth...it wasn't serious—" Beth turned around again looking at Mike, she was really angry.
"You JERKS!" Beth yelled at them, before running off to find Hannah. "Hannah! HANNAH!" Beth called out for Hannah. "So... should we go after her?" Mike asked, Sam spoke sounding annoyed with Mike. "Y'know I kinda think you're the LAST person she wants to see right now, Mike." Sam said sarcastically but serious at the same time.

I decided to go and try to find the twins, the snow crunching at every step I took. I cupped my hands around my mouth. "BETH! Hannah! Guys where did you GO?" I called out looking at the trees. I pulled out my phone turning on the flashlight, I pointed my phone towards every corner calling out their names.
"HANNAH! BETH!" I didn't get a response back; I saw fire in the corner of my eye. Confused I turned. "What the hell?" I said to myself before turning back, continuously walking in desperation to find them.

After 20 minutes of walking, and no luck of finding them. I decided to head back to the lodge, taking the trail I made my way back. Closing the door behind me. "Did you find them?" Sam asked coming to my side, as I looked the ground. "No... I'm sure they'll be back though." I looked at Sam then everyone else, I narrowed my gaze ashamed of all of them.

but little did I know they weren't ever coming back...
