I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Care to share?" I asked, hoping for some clarity.

He shrugged, a small grin playing on his lips. "Maybe later. Right now, I honestly need a coffee and a smoke," he said, stretching as he sat up.

Despite his messy appearance, he still looked good, making me wonder how the hell he was able to do that? Looking so good every single time.

I nodded, understanding his priorities. "And spare toothbrushes?" I inquired, eager to freshen up.

He pointed towards the hallway. "First shelf," he said, leaning back on the bed as he closed his eyes for a faint second, the dim light casting a soft glow on his soft features.

His relaxed self made him appear so effortlessly charming that I almost felt like kissing him again, and again.

"You want to shower?" he then asked, catching me off guard a little.

"Huh?" I asked, surprise evident in my voice.

He snorted, his lips sporting a playful grin. "Not like that, just you know, to feel clean again," he said, his tone casual yet thoughtful. I couldn't help but admire the way he effortlessly got rid of the faint hint of awkwardness in the room.

I felt a flush creep up my neck, an awkward grin playing on my lips.

"Oh," I muttered, grateful for his suggestion.

"Although I'd be down for that too," he added sheepishly, a breathy chuckle escaping his lips.

I blinked in surprise, a smirk tugging at the corner of my lips at his unexpected comment.

"Well, as tempting as that sounds," I replied, shaking my head with a playful roll of my eyes, "I think I'll stick to just feeling clean for now."

He chuckled, his tone light and teasing as he settled back onto the bed, grabbing his phone.

"Well, that's your loss then," he said, a hint of cockiness in his voice that made my heart skip a beat.

"By the way," I added, feeling a sudden pang of self-consciousness, "do you mind if I borrow one of your shirts? I didn't exactly plan for an overnight stay so I don't have anything with me, like at all."

"Help yourself to anything you need," he replied smoothly, a subtle smirk playing on his lips. "But hurry it up in the shower, yeah? I kinda wanna get in there too."

"Got it," I said with a grin, as I headed to the bathroom.

As I returned from the bathroom, feeling refreshed and clean in Ky's oversized hoodie, I couldn't help but enjoy the comfort of his scent enveloping me.

The soft material of the black hoodie with bright blue motifs on the back hugged my frame perfectly, making me want to steal it someday though, of course, I'd return it eventually. Maybe.

"Nice hoodie," he remarked, nodding his head in my direction as his dark eyes subtly ran over my frame. His gaze made me feel a little nervous, yet strangely heard.

"Thanks," I said, joining him in the kitchen, "it's really cozy too," I added, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear before turning on the water boiler. I was in the mood for tea instead of coffee.

Coffee was actually disgusting.

"No shit," he let out a little snort, shaking his head. I could feel his gaze lingering on me, as if he had something on his mind he didn't quite dare say.

"So, about last night," he began, clearing his throat as if to shake off any lingering uncertainty.

His expression turned thoughtful as he leaned forward, his face tilting towards me with a teasing glint in his eyes.
