"STRIKE HER NOW EI" Screamed Zhongil from the top of his lungs, then a sudden wave of lightning struck from the sky blinding all that was around, the ground shook under me and Xiao, Zhongli used his powers to hit the unknown god, both the traveler and his sister where watching all this happen, Abyss mages following along with Abyss heralds.

The land that was once lush green grass was now ash and fire, the sky was dark with smoke and the civilians of mondstate that stayed had died, my land was gone, destroyed, it hurt me to see my land in war the animals who once had freedom dead the people having to flee for there lives, me and the other archons where badly hurt, most adepit where hurt Xiao and Xianyun where the only ones who remained, Aether and Lumine where so badly injured but they said they needed to get rid of this god once and for all, a voice broken me from my thoughts.

"Venti watch out!" Xiao's voice I quickly ducking and got out of the way, only getting hit a bit on the arm, blood gushed out I didn't pay any attention to it, Ei striked the god again getting her down, everyone who was there started to attack as much as they could, we put in everything we could.

She was almost dead when she did her last attack then dying, everyone was cheering, but once I glided down to Xiao who was holding his stomach and kneeling on the ground, when he felt me, he fell onto my chest, his arm fell and I saw blood, nothing but blood, I panicked, I didn't want to alarm Zhongli so I tried what I could to help him by myself, to no advil I called Ei over, she knew a thing or two.

"Ei!" Her head turned, a wide smile tried into a face of shock.

"Venti, why did you call now!" Yelled an anger Ei.

"I-I didn't know w-what to do" I stuttered, my head fell and I held Xiao closer to me, I heard his heart slowing down, his breath slowing.

"No, don't do this to me Xiao" I cried, Ei took him from me, my arms feeling empty without him, she ripped part of her cloths and wrapped it around his stomach to stop the bleeding for a little while, she picked him up and teleported to inazuma, I followed, Paimon came to me to ask about the traveler.

"Venti! Is everything okay?" She asked with a soft caring voice.

"Yeah! The Traveler should be here soon!" I put on a fake smile.

"Okay I'll wait with Kazuha a little longer" she happily floated away, I saw the traveler in the distance coming up to me, he hugged me, he pulled away still having his hands in my shoulders.

"We did it Venti!" He chirped happily, the biggest smile on his face, I keep the fake smile and nodded.

We chatted for a long time, about the fight, the future of Teyvat, Paimon had joined us and asked about how it went and if everyone was okay, I almost had forgotten about Xiao but when Paimon brought that up my mind and thoughts went to him, why as Ei not come back?, was he okay?, has he died?,

"Venti!" Aether loudly said with a worried expression on his face, I was startled a little when I heard his voice loudly calling my name, he looked worried.

"Yeah?" I shyly asked

"Are you alright?" He asked placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, Yeah I'm fine..." I keep my mouth open to say more but quickly closed it as I didn't have nothing more to say.

We continued to talk, but my mind was stuck on Xiao, after sometime I saw Ei from the side of my eye and she looked... upset.

"Um, Barb- Venti could you come with me please?" She asked as nicely as she could.

"Of course" I calmly said.

We returned to her Tenshukaku (the place, she lives look it up) and she guided to a room on the far left, Yae Miko was standing outside looking upset and Ei stopped, I accidentally bumped into her as I didn't see her stop.

"Now Barb- Venti please do not get upset once you walk into the room" she said in a calm and caring tone, I agreed with her and we entered the room, she covered my eyes and slowly let me see what my lover had turned into, his Karma was all around him and fading quickly, he looked pale and blood was everywhere, my head dropped and tears left my eyes, I felt one of the woman hug me I hugged her back.

I stayed there for a little longer and returned to the traveler.

"Venti are you okay? Paimon and the traveler are worried" Paimon chirped.

I couldn't hold back the tears and hugged the traveler, he was shocked as this had never happened before.

"C-can we go to F-Fontaine I-I don't want to stay here any l-longer" I chocked through sobs.

The traveler teleported us to Fontaine and we feel to the floor in a hug, my crying had become stronger, the traveler was saying words trying to cheer we up but it didn't work.

Furina came to greet the traveler and saw me and said a quick hello and left, Paimon had stayed back in Inazuma with Kazuha as she didn't want to make things worse, I cried for hours in the travelers arms, his cloths were wet from my tears and I was a mess, passers by where questioning what was happening, they didn't try and help they just walked by.

I calmed down a little more and we walked around a little more, I explained - badly explained - what happened and how Xiao was dead and how he looked, by now his Karma should have taken all his life force and left his body.

200 years later in Xiao's pov:

The never ending black had an end, a grey metal roof? I shot up, it hurt, it hurt so bad, I just feel back down, my head hit the thing I was on.

"Ahh you're awake" a male voice made its self known.

I looked in the voices direction Dottore!?.

"Dottore?!?" Coughing followed.

"Yes, but don't speak much you will hurt yourself even more" his voice was sweet and kind for some reason, I felt his hand around my neck then a sharp pinch, then a warm liquid my body felt limp and my eyes fluttered then shut the endless back had returned.
