Have you ever thought to yourself, "Why did I let myself fall for him?"
Well that was the same question I was asking myself in this moment, looking at him as we stood under the rain, everything around us fading away.
'Laùrena, I can explain what you saw ok? Just let me explain.' He tried taking a step closer to me but I unconsciously took one away from him.
The agony of what I had just witnessed was more blinding than the rain drops falling heavily on my lashes. This was supposed to be a happy moment but I guess I had been too desperate for a happy ending I walked into another disaster head first.
'Don't come any closer.' My voice came more harsh than I had intended.
I'm pretty sure I looked a mess. Looking at him one last time I ran despite his calls as fast as my short legs would let me and the heaviness in my chest getting bigger each step away from him.
I had done it again.
I had let another person destroy me, but this time felt different.
Maybe it was because it was HIM...............
