newt

It's a week later and the greenie remembers his name and also became a runner his name is Minho. Today we are running in the maze alongside Newt we have to split up me and Minho run together cause it's his second time in the maze. When we were only 30 minutes apart we hear Newt scream, I look at Minho and we start running back to the point we split up we go in the part were Newt had to run when we see him hanging unconscious with his foot stuck in the Evy we get him down and run back to the glade and straight to the med hut Minho lays him down on a bed and clint looks at his foot. Its swollen and probably broken. Alby runs in and ask what happened and why we are back so early when he sees Newt he immediately stops and looks in shock at him.

Clint comes back with a sad face. "I'm sorry but he can't run anymore it will be lasting forever he will limp. I'm sorry." 

"You don't have to be sorry it's not your fault" is say back to him. 

We all get out and do other work cause we can't go in the maze again. I go the gardens and look at the plants who are in good shape nothing to worry about, Alby opens the door to go away when I hear Alby yelling 

"sheep on the loose!" I go to the door and look around and see the sheep I look to Minho, and I think he knows what I am thinking we both start running after the sheep when Minho tackles it and brings it back to where it belongs. After working a little more and looking at Newt I go to my room and write in my journal. I go look in the room of Newt when I see a journal laying on his bed, I open it and read the last page he wrote. My eyes grow wide when I read the last few sentences. He couldn't do it anymore he has no hope left. But why did he never talked about it? I go back and decide to keep it to myself. 

I take my shower supplies and go shower after that I make dinner when I see Newt coming over with crutches. I take my plate and his and go sit at the table newt comes next to me and starts eating. "Hey you alright?"

"y-yeah." He says back holding back tears. 

I hug him and don't ask further. When clint comes and says to newt he has to keep it calm the upcoming few days and that he can't run anymore. Now he's going to work in the gardens cause he is surprisingly good in the gardens. The next day I decide to not run with Minho and that he has to train and I'm going to work in the gardens. When I'm helping Newt, I see a tear falling from his eyes. I go to him and hug him he hugs me back and we sit there for 5 minutes with Newt in my arms. He wipes his tears and goes back to work. "You sure you're alright? "y-yeah." He says back but I still hear he's sad. I just work further. It's now noon and we all eat. Last night I had a memory flash of Minho he was beside me when we were taken, I think he's, my brother. After we ate, I go train with Minho. I ask gally for two wooden planks and set them up Infront of us 

"break it as fast as you can, and you can use anything you want that you can hold for going in the maze." I time it and he breaks it in 10 minutes. I do the same and I can break it in 5 minutes. Wel one of the reasons is cause I've been running longer and also cause I trained more than him. The rest of the afternoon we train. Its evening and we already ate and go to sleep.
