Taehyung, though taken aback by his sudden presence, threw the door open and plastered a wide grin on his face. "Hey, hyung!" he greeted before hugging the other alpha.

Yoongi's citrusy scent invaded his senses almost immediately and Taehyung fought the urge to just sag against him. It was so comforting that for a moment, he wanted to do nothing but bury his nose into Yoongi's scent gland and forget everything else around them.

What the hell?! He pulled back immediately with a frown. That never happened before. Taehyung blinked, the reason he was avoiding Yoongi coming to the front of his mind. "C-Come in," he stuttered, but Yoongi was already walking past him, their shoulders brushing.

"You're always busy. So I thought I'll stop by," Yoongi announced in his usual lazy tone. "I brought breakfast."

"Oh. Ha ha." Taehyung was at a loss of words and didn't know what to say. That was a first. Why was he like this? Yoongi was his best friend and hyung first. He shut the door behind him feeling a sense of trepidation for some reason.

Was Yoongi going to confront him? Taehyung didn't have any answers. So he decided to play aloof. Maybe Yoongi will leave after breakfast. It wasn't like they never did this before. They hung out all the time.

"Nice place," Yoongi commented. "That the gift from your admirer?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Yeah." He walked past Yoongi to remove the items from the couch. He gathered them and went to dump them in the trash can. "It's becoming a headache. Guess I have a stalker now."

"Oh."

Did Yoongi's gaze darken a bit or he imagined it? Taehyung shrugged it off. Why would this bother him? Maybe he was concerned for his safety as his friend. "Don't worry, hyung. Shit like this happens when you're famous." Taehyung winked, feeling grateful for the topic diversion. "I got it handled."

"I don't think he'd appreciate the way you're treating his courting gifts," Yoongi said. He put the breakfast on his coffee table and approached him with slow steps. For some reason, those steps felt as if Yoongi was stalking toward him as if he was his prey. What the hell! "You should be more mindful, Taehyung-ah."

Taehyung scoffed. His friend felt different for some reason and he couldn't put a finger on it. "I don't even know him," he replied. "Why would I care for his feelings? No man in the right mind would want to court me." He chuckled dryly.

"What if someone wants to?" Yoongi probed, looking serious as ever and it was unsettling somehow.

Taehyung swallowed, looking away. He clenched his fists. "Why would they want to?"

"Because you're you," Yoongi replied without missing a beat.

"E-Exactly, hyung." Taehyung tried to laugh it off. "I'm just me."

Yoongi cocked his head to the side. "Crazy talented, hardworking, loyal to the core, selfless...Yeah, I see the appeal."

Taehyung's head whipped up, eyes widening. "W-What?"

There was nothing but sincerity in Yoongi's gaze. "I said I understand why someone would admire you," Yoongi responded nonchalantly. "To have someone like you in their life is a blessing in itself."

"Oh."

That was actually sweet. Probably the best thing someone had ever told him.

"I actually came here to return something you gave me a while ago," his best friend continued with a shrug of his shoulder. Taehyung thought Yoongi was sexy when he did that. Was he always this handsome? Or was it just his fashion sense improving? The suit looked extremely good on him.
