Somebody Loves You For You

Somebody loves you for being you,
And not just for your view.
Rather than the many imperfections,
They love you for your few perfections.
They don't need adjectives to describe,
Nor do they need objectives to prescribe,
The reason they love you or why.
The reason they don't want to see you cry,
Is 'cause of love and not hatred,
For they nurtured and bred,
You to become who you are today.
In a pinch they are the first to pay,
In your stead, and so just give a shout
And they'll do away with your pout.
Selfless and reliable,
For you, they are liable...
To do the impossible and more,
To fight for you from their core.
