They were on a mission to kill someone and they were bickering as always they never go along there bickering is there love language at this point they were walking down the streets and dazai kept teasing him about his height and they stood in front of a cherry tree they found and dazai knew where this tree was since he always went to it to comfort himself he drew "short" on the tree and chuuya would scratch it off but overtime chuuya stop trying after it got higher and higher dazai questioned why he didn't just use his ability to go and scratch it off he'd always tease and bully him about his height and chuuya always yelled at him for it and pushed him away when he always did it dazai found it funny that the redhead would get easily mad at his antics since he loved to see his reaction all the time no matter how many times Dazai teased him chuuya always stood by him mostly on his blind side (left side) since he had a eye bandage on for quite some time nobody knew what was underneath them either it's one of the secrets that Dazai never tells he always make up excuses for people to believe what could be under them all the time but chuuya never believed in the excuses he always made up but they did end up fighting the enemy's they had to take down for this mission and it was ofc a success like always they loved fighting side by side together overtime they were also known as the partners in crime to they never felt bad for it after awhile they went back to the mafia and Dazai was exhausted he noticed he didn't put his arm bandages on tight enough and he got worried chuuya noticed it
C:"what's wrong dazai?-"
D:"nothing I'm just gonna head to the bathroom"
He walked off fast and chuuya knew something was wrong since dazai was never like this dazai made it to the bathroom and started to unravel his bandages
D:"ofc they would unravel like always"
He was disappointed and now have to put on a new pair chuuya peeked in the door way and was shocked to see all the scars dazai had on his arms and the new cuts he has made he felt bad for him and didn't know what to do he wanted to help but didn't wanna make dazai hate him for knowing his secret he has hidden for so long dazai noticed chuuya and got scared
D:"chuuya why are you here?!"
He tried to hide his arms away thinking he didn't see what he did to them
C:"I was just checking up on you but why are you doing that-"
Chuuya looked very worried and came into the bathroom and closed the door
D:"because I wanted to alright.."
Chuuya hugged dazai trying to comfort him from why he could of done that in the first place dazai started to tear up from doing it and chuuya felt more bad and grabbed some new bandages for him and helped him wrap them around his arms
C:"pls don't do this anymore it won't help you fell better but only worse.."
D:"but-"
C:"no buts dazai I don't wanna see you hurting yourself like this I'll tell you what you can talk to me about what's going on and I'll try and comfort you ok?"
Dazai nodded and loved that chuuya cared about him when nobody else did chuuya finished wrapping his arms with the bandages and hugged dazai again
C:"pls come and talk to me about these things I don't wanna see you hurting yourself it's not good and it will only hurt you more in the end."
Dazai cried in his arms and was happy that he met chuuya he made him want to live on instead of dying for feeling worthless he hugged chuuya back tightly and after awhile of chuuya comforting him they went back to his room he took his black coat and put it in the closet and layed in bed chuuya smiled and hopes that he can make dazai feel better about himself so he won't do this anymore he sat by him and ruffled dazais hair dazai pouted just to be his dramatic self chuuya giggled a little and dazai turned a little pink on his cheeks from his laugh he found it rather cute dazai pushed him teasingly and chuuya pushed him back they both laughed and dazai grabbed a pillow and hit chuuya with it lightly so it wouldn't hurt him chuuya grabbed one as well and they had a pillow fight after 2 hours of doing a huge pillow fight dazai was exhausted to having a pillow fight with the redhead
C:"someone's tired"
The ginger smiled and dazai didn't feel like sleeping then to stay up a little longer
D:"I don't wanna sleep tho"
C:"if u don't sleep I'll just have to make you"
D:"Nuh uh"
C:"yea huh"
Chuuya pushed dazai to make him Lay down and he put both pillows back to where they were
D:"hmph"
C:"your like a baby yk that"
D:"I am not a baby!"
Chuuya laughed again and just put dazai into his lap so he would sleep dazai fell asleep after some time and chuuya was glad that he finally fell asleep to have rest chuuya fell asleep sometime after

Chuuya woke up with a sleeping brunette still in his lap

Chuuya was on his phone playing games and watching videos waiting for dazai to wake up aftering some time he woke up
C:"morning sleepy head"
D:"morning-"
Dazai yawned and sat up and rubbed his eyes while stretching
D:"what time is it chibi"
C:"it's 8:04 am why?"
D:"I just wanted to know I hope we don't have a mission to do today I rather have a day off today."
C:"dazai it's the weekend we don't have missions on the weekends."
D:"oh yea right-"
Chuuya found it amusing that dazai thought it was a work day
D:"hey it's not my fault I'm not entirely awake yet!!"
C:"yea i know but you don't need to yell zai-"
Dazai looked at him and took his phone
D:"whatcha watching~!!"
C:"hey give that back dumbass!"
D:"nah I rather notttt"
Dazai smirked and the redhead and found this to funny to just give it up chuuya was trying to reach for it but couldn't since dazai had long arms to keep it away from him
C:"your such a pain you know that dazai!!"
Chuuya scoffed and looked at him angrily
D:"I was just teasing you why the sour face chu chu"
C:"because your being a damn pain dazai!"
Dazai handed his phone back and smiles at him chuuya was angry but he can't be mad at him forever really dazai hugged chuuya to make him less angry chuuya hugged him back and ruffled his hair to tease him
D:"hey no fair!"
C:"what are you gonna do about it"
Dazai messed up chuuyas hair and smirked knowing that will piss him off
C:"god dammit dazai I swear"
The redhead fixed his hair while dazai was laughing about him having his hair messed up at least chuuya knew he could show more emotion due to the face he knew he had depression and smiled at dazai hoping maybe he could turn his life around into making his life better by making him more happier than rather sad since he noticed he always looked upset and emotionless all the time and hid his emotions behind a smile rather then just telling someone what's going on in his head and life
C:"you should smile more you know it looks pretty on you-"
Dazai turned bright red and didn't know what to say at that point at all he never knew chuuya would ever say that to him even though they are rivals
D:"you think so?"
He replied while trying to hide his red face chuuya found it adorable that's he's hiding his face from him even though he knew he was red as a tomato
C:"Mhm because it suits you no body told you that?"
D:"no not at all-"
C:"well I guess I'm the first but it's true"
Dazai looked away while still being flustered by chuuyas words chuuya giggled at his reaction and smiled at him he didn't know he would be like this I guess not all the mafia is pure evil just broken and need some reassurance that's all he was glad he could get some emotion out of him so he doesn't fall into deeper depression from what's going on he loved making dazai happy even if he didn't show it and dazai did the same for chuuya since he also had a bad backstory to him they started to know about each other more and chuuya also met his two friends ango and oda they would usually hang out in the same old bar they always go to they liked hanging out anytime they could chuuya saw dazais friends like his dads since they would be like a dad to him all the time chuuya found it quite amusing to see dazai get upset sometimes with ango for being a little too childish and not thinking right in the head they went to the bar later this night the breeze was nice while they were walking there to the bar dazai teased chuuya the whole way there and chuuya yelled at him for getting annoyed by his teasing he loved his teasing but never said anything about that dazai smirked and laughed about it they finally were at the bar they went inside and they both sat down
A:"well you both finally arrived"
C:"yeah well dazai is slow as always"
D:"I am not shorty!"
O:"here we go again"

They started to bicker like a married couple as usual
A:"can you to quit fighting over every little thing."
Ango frowned at them both already irritated about the situation
C:"well if dazai would stop running his mouth maybe we wouldn't"
D:"your the one with a short temper chuuya"
O:"can we all please just leave the bickering for later and just enjoy tonight."
C:"fine."
Chuuya scoffed at dazai for even starting this in the first place dazai smirked at the fact he annoyed chuuya for the 100th time and dazai and chuuya ordered there drinks for the night and dazai drank his as soon as he got it but didn't finish it all to leave the rest while they chat about things
A:"so how was your guys mission?"
D:"it was nice we had a good time doing the mission"
O:"well at least you enjoyed fighting together as usual"
Ango smiled knowing that they do get along most of the time if there not fighting about something as always they all finished there drinks and went home for the night chuuya pushed dazai and dazai pushed him back and they kept teasing each other like always mostly dazai was teasing him like usual they finally made it back to the mafia and went into dazais room to change into more comfy clothes and rest for the night dazai put his coat away and turned red seeing chuuya almost entirely undressed and looked away chuuya was confused why he was all red and continued to undress and he put new clothes on after that he went on to dazais bed and put the blankets over him to be warm and he went on his phone and watched videos on his device and dazai undressed and put comfy clothes on and went into his side of the bed and put the blankets over himself he was cold and chuuya pulled him closer to keep him warm dazai smiled and gazed at the ginger chuuya noticed and giggled and dazai turned very red chuuya played with his hair and dazai easily falls asleep to this type of stuff and also he fell asleep a hour later
