In place of a response, the younger laughs once more, wiping a tear from the corner of his eye.
George laughs in unison, smiling. "Alright, now take one of these crates. I can't build all three!"
"Alright idiot, what's step one then?"
"Um-connect the bottom part of the crate to both sides, and they should click in place." Dream says, repeating the first step from earlier.
Suddenly, George's blob hops into his lap, nudging at one of his hands holding the instruction manual.
The blond's initial reaction is to scream, but he entirely turns to mush, and he's sure it's some type of cuteness overload.
"Oh my god, George! Did you see that?" The excitement in the younger's voice is unmistakable as he reaches out a hand to pet the blob. " Your bl- I mean Little George just nudged my arm!"
George giggles. "Yeah, that means he likes you."
Suddenly, the brunet is up and on his feet.
"Wait, I'm gonna go get yours from your room, I'll be back."
Dream proceeds to set Little George in his lap, picking up the crate instructions once more.
George comes scurrying down the stairs only moments later, blob in hand, placing it gently next to his own in Dream's lap.
"George, mine looks like he's on the edge of passing out, what the heck did you do?" Dream shrieks, questioning.
"I-It could have been that I just woke it up, or that I was sort of um- sprinting down the stairs. Maybe it's...dizzy?"
Interrupting the two's conversation, both Dream and George's blobs start interacting with each other, little squeaks are passed between the two, and Dream's blob begins to hop up and down excitedly.
"Do you think they speak their own little like- squeak language?" Dream suggests.
The shorter audibly laughs, eyes lighting up. "Oh my gosh, we should call it squeakish, the blob language!"
"Wait! Can we name mine Clay? Dream requests, eyes lighting up. "And like- considering he's a mini version of me, and you just call me Dream all of the time; so you can call the blob Clay, and you won't get us mixed up, and I won't get confused!"
With a nod of his head, George laughs. "I'm gonna call him Little Dream so that way we have Little Dream and Little George, and they can be the ultimate duo!"
"Hi, little guy," he says, reaching out.
The blob's beady eyes go wide at George's tender tone, mouth widening into a sweet and soft smile, rubbing his tiny head into the brunets hand.
All of a sudden, George's blob jumps up at Dream's, nudging against him.
"Look, George! I think they like each other!"
George only giggles.
"DNF 2.0!" Dream shouts.
"Oh, c'mon. They're just friends." George scoffs, hiding his amusement.
Now, Dream's the one laughing. "Isn't that what we call ourselves?"
George's face flushes the lightest shade of pink, but he disguises the color with a look of disgust.
"What? We are just friends, Dream!" He shrieks, looking away from the youngers gaze. "You're such an idiot."
Catching the two off guard, Little Dream hops out of the taller's lap, trudging over to the array of items the two have strewn across the floor, and biting onto one of the pieces of cardboard from an opened box.
"Hey!" George yelps, reaching out to grab the blob, only for it to dodge his grasp, hopping around in circles.
"Dream, do something!"
Doing as told, the taller extends his free hand to capture the creature, ultimately failing as well as his blob continues to run farther away.
As the two both continue running rampant throughout the house trying to catch the mischievous creatures on their hands, Sapnap comes running down the stairs, his face filled with complete shock.
"You guys!" He stops suddenly at the last stair, catching his breath. "I think I may have accidentally told my chat about the blobs-"
Dream and George stop in their tracks, completely frozen.
The tallest is the first to speak up.
"You..what?"
George's face fills with shock, his mouth slung open.
Sapnap squeezes his eyes shut, exhaling, awaiting the amount of shrill questioning he's about to receive.
"I'm sorry- let me explain."

A/N
I hope you enjoyed! This chapter was short, so I apologize for that and the silly cliffhanger.
Within the next few chapters, they should all start to get relatively longer as the entirety of this story develops.
Trying my best to get some plot growth to make things fun and interesting. :)
