I WAS LEANING AGAINST THE WALLbeside Tiny as I watched Branch with a slight frown. "Hey man, I know about being treated like a baby." Tiny looked over to Branch who was leaning against the seat.
"But while it's just the three of us." Tiny spoke reaching down as he brought out....the thing. My eyes widened slightly as I darted my eyes away "You want some of this?" He asked looking around as Branch sighed
"Nah..thanks man..I-I can't get back on that train." I nodded towards Tiny "Yeah neither can I...it was......well...." My hands got slightly sweaty as I cracked my knuckles. Branch looking over at me "You...?" I nodded before shrugging as I looked away scratching the back of my neck.
"Suit yourself." Tiny shrugged as he popped it into his mouth before sucking on it as I could feel Branch stare at me with worried eyes. I bit down on my lip before grabbing the postcard out of his hands "I mean look at this damn thing."
I flailed it around as I crossed my arms "We're never gonna find Spruce with this." As branch nodded in agreement as he slowly took it out of my hands furrowing his eyebrows "I bet this sunset doesn't exist."
I hummed before noticing the EXACT sunset that was on the postcard in the distance "OH, HOT DOG!" Tiny yelled in excitement as I groaned "Ah man." Branch said in defeat.
"Of course." He lifted the postcard as he looked at the sunset then down at the postcard "Hey guys, you're gonna wanna see this." He continued as Poppy and JD ran up to us as Poppy smiled.
"I knew we were gonna find it!" She turned around and high-fived John who chuckled "Spruce must be on that island." Her eyes glistened as I lightly shook my head "Don't get your hopes up pipsqueak, he might not even be on that island."
I crossed my arms not noticing her cheeks turn lighter in shade. "Don't be so down all the time, he will be. I just know it!" She jumped up and down in excitement as I sighed, letting my head fall back in exhaustion.
