CIARA WALKED DOWN THE HALL FOR HER first day of sophomore year in her cheerios uniform that fit her perfectly. before she could even reach her locker, she was met with jacob ben israel, aka jbi. a kid who is devoted to interviewing the glee club members.
"Ciara Puckerman!" he yelled as he ran down the hallway to meet up with her.
"Get away from me." she said, not even making eye contact with the boy.
ignoring her, he continued. "How does it feel to be in the shadow of your older brother?" jacob asked, shoving the camera in toni's face.
"Your gonna feel that microphone up your butt in a second if you don't get out my face." ciara threatened and once the boy saw the look in her eye, he ran off with his camera men in tow.
"There's our girl. Scaring Jbi we see." turning, ciara seen her three favorite juniors walking her way. santana lopez, quinn fabray and brittany s. peirce.
once ciara joined the cheerios her freshman year the three older girls took her under their wing and basically treated her like their child.
ciara smiled at the them as they walked into the choir room where mr schue began to read the latest comments by jbi. "These are comments from Jacob Ben-Israel's most recent Glee Club blog. Glee is a giant ball of suck." he read off a piece a paper.
"We get it, Mr. Shue. Everyone still hates us. So what? So we're plankton on the high school food chain? Only difference now is that none of us really care." kurt told the teacher and it was true.
"Kurt's right. We're a family. They can bring it all they want. None of it is going to break us." mercedes added.
"Okay, I'm really happy that you guys have all bonded. The problem is that all of this negative stuff is keeping other students from auditioning."
"Good. Why do we need new members?" tina asked and mr schue continued. "Well, since Matt transferred, we only have 12 members, and if we want to go to Nationals, if we want to beat Vocal Adrenaline, we have to go from a small rebel force to a giant wall of sound."
"Yeah, Mr. Schuester's right, you guys. You didn't see Vocal Adrenaline at Regionals. They were epic. We're going to need more voices in order to beat them." rachel stated as she stood up to stand beside their teacher and finn followed. "Yeah. I'm with Rachel on this one."
"Gross." "Utterly disgusting." ciara said after brittany.
"You're going to have to trust me on this, guys. Now, here's the plan. Nationals are in New York this year, and we are going." mr schue announced naming the students cheer. "Now let's go out there and show the school how cool it's going to be, how cool we can be. If they're not going to come to us, let's go to them. They say we only sing show tunes and '80s pop. Let's show them how down we are. Let's give them the song of the year, New Directions! style."
