Letting out a yell, Y/n flew at Goku, powering up as her aura exploded. Goku attempted to block her attack with the scythe, eyes going wide as Y/n grabbed the handle, swinging it and flinging Goku off. Regaining his balance, Goku let out a choked gasp as Y/n's foot suddenly dug into his gut, raising the blade of her scythe up.

Just as Y/n brought down the scythe, its blade mere inches from Goku's head, Y/n was suddenly knocked back by the boot of a kick. She grit her teeth, hissing in pain as she looked up to the man who had attacked her blind spot. Her eyes met Gohan's, Goku huffing as his heart thundered in his chest. They took each others' side, making Y/n groan in annoyance. Even if she was outnumbered, she refused to lose.

As Y/n fought with Goku and Gohan, the ground rumbling ever so slightly as their fists clashed, an annoyed growl came from Bulma as the urn shook with the ground. Her hands were pressed tightly to the urn lid, holding in the Kai that threatened to break free. Her attention turned up to the fights going on, her stomach twisting with anxiety. Things were beginning to look bleak. Even with Zamasu down, and even with all of their power ups, Y/n and Black were still going strong. If something didn't happen to change the flow of the tides, they would lose, and in the end, die. Bulma held a hand over her stomach, the thought making her bite her lip nervously.

The ground shook once more, the urn wiggling in the snow. Bulma groaned in frustration, placing her hand over the top. Just as the ground shook, Bulma felt a sudden presence behind her, her eyes widening as she looked back in fear. However, her fear changed into one of confusion as her eyes landed on someone who had not traveled with them to the future.

"Supreme Kai!?" Bulma looked to the short Kai in surprise, as well as the Kai she had yet to meet, a much older one. Shin looked down at Bulma in surprise, smiling as he greeted her, but his smile turned into a look of terror at the fight happening just above.

"I-Is that..?" Shin's eyes widened as they landed on a familiar girl dressed in a familiar black gi. Y/n blew Goku and Gohan back with her kiai, yelling in frustration as she swung her ki scythe, waves of ki blasting from her scythe. Shin could only stare in surprise, before turning his attention to Bulma. "What's going on? Where's Zamasu?"

"He's—" Bulma was cut off as the ground shook particularly violently, Bulma yelping as the urn slipped out from under her grasp. The lid fell off, a bright energy suddenly bursting from within it. Bulma scrambled to her feet, hiding behind Shin and the older Kai as the light began to take shape. "H-He was in there..."

The light disappeared in a burst, Zamasu's form collapsing to the ground as he gasped, taking in deep, heavy breaths. Despite the bone-chilling weather, he was covered in sweat, gasping as he looked around in a panicked manner. His eyes glossed over the Kais for a mere second, trying to take in his surroundings, as if to realize he was back in reality, before doing a double take. He stared at the Kais, anxiety beginning to ebb away at him as he swallowed thickly.

"M-Master..? You're here..?" Zamasu mumbled, his eyes landing on the very man he'd witnessed Black murder, Gowasu. Gowasu looked down at Zamasu in surprise, unable to utter a single word. Zamasu felt his breath escape him, memories of being unable to do anything for Gowasu in his last moments alive ringing through his mind. Zamasu suddenly recalled Y/n's words about making it up to Gowasu, his eyes beginning to burn at the thought that this might be his chance to make things right. He could finally say the words that had been trapped within him for so long, no one to hear him speak them.

Just before Gowasu could attempt to say anything, Zamasu burst into tears, catching all three off guard as Zamasu sobbed, "I'm sorry, master! I had never intended for such a thing to ever happen to you! I did nothing to save you, it's my fault you died! It's my fault you never got to see the universe change! If only I had stopped Goku Black, you might still be here! I'm sorry I never showed you gratitude for everything!"
