the best word yumi could use
to describe her current state
was overstimulated.
despite being the second day of school,
lectures were in full throttle, assessments
already being mentioned and on top of
that she couldn't sit with her friends to
eat lunch.
she was sure that if worse came to worse
she could easily slip into a seat at ten's
table, after all they did get along quite
well, but they were nowhere to be seen.
adjusting her bag that kept slipping off
of her shoulder, she thought about just
grabbing some food and finding a quiet
room to sit in.
so she brought out her phone to appear
busy, and headed over to the canteen.
as she was busying herself with the different
meat options, she heard two people not too
far behind her.
"isn't that yumi?"
whipping her head around at the mention of
her name, she was met with the faces of both
seunghan and sohee, eunseok trailing not too
far behind.
fuck.
there was no way she would be able to
leave without looking suspicious, and she
didn't want to make it obvious that it was
hard for her to be around eunseok for long
periods of time.
so she plastered a fake smile on her face,
acting like she was happy to see the trio.
"hey guys," she even waved at them as they
all one by one entered the shop, eunseok
being the last one.
when he finally saw her his smile widened,
and she had to focus on seunghan's face
instead.
to her surprise seunghan opened his arms
wide, eager to give her a hug as he slightly
swayed from side to side.
she had a good relationship with eunseok's
friend group.
they were all such sweet boys, and the
amount of time she spent around him meant
that she saw them very often.
