3rd person POV
You remembered Zim when you had first came to skool.You remember kids saying he was weird especially dib saying he's an alien.I figured that out on my own soon when Zim told me.I was kind of surprised since he never told anyone.I was known as his "human friend". It was pretty obvious cause of his green skin and you could also see his magenta eyes through his hazel contacts. You knew he had a egotistical superior attitude,but you eventually turned out to like him.
There's a side to Zim that no one else sees.You even started to have feelings for him.You were scared of the outcomes of what could happen.
Right now,you were kicked out of your house in the drizzling rain.It was 8:30 at night right now. Your mom is at a business trip and your dad is an alcoholic and threw a fit at you today. So he told you to leave now.This started when your dad got fired and since then,He started drinking.You thought 'why even get mad about that when you could apply for a new job?!'.You honestly never understood that.
Any who,You thought about going to zim's place,but you didn't want to bother him.'What if he's gonna be like my dad and kick me out?' 'What if I just never went?'.Thoughts went through your mind. After a few moments, you decided to go anyways. His place wasn't that far anyways.You stood on the doorstep and rung the door bell.In a few seconds,It opened to reveal " OH HAI (Y/N)!!!" Gir himself.You looked down to see an always cheerful gir.He's just soo cute!
"Hi Gir.Umm can I come In?" You asked him."Sure!^•^ Master's in his lab!!" and he went off to eat waffles.You knew about zim's lab."ooooh Maaaster!"You heard Gir shout from the kitchen. Zim then came with an annoyed look."Ughh What Gi-Oh..Hello (Y/N).."He said with his eyes softening.
"Hey Zimmy" you said as you sat on the couch.You even forgot how soaked you were. "Now how come you're so wet?!Were you standing in that hideous water or something?!" He said with disgust.You knew he was allergic to earth water.You also know you had to ask him. "My dad kicked me out of the house and I have nowhere else to go. Is it OK if I stay here?".
Zim took a few moments to protest." Uuh sure (Y/N).."
Couple hours later
Zim had let you sleep on the couch for tonight. You were kind of just watching "The Angry Monkey Show" that Gir watches.You couldn't really sleep honestly. You decided to get warm milk from the kitchen,but it didn't work.Right now,you were just sitting there.
Suddenly,zim walks in on you."Can't sleep?" He asks,sitting right next to you.You were kind of blushing since he was THAT close to you."No..I really can't zim".
He just sat there watching angry monkey until he wrapped his arm around your
shoulder."So..why'd your dad kick you out?"He asked you.You sighed. "My dad's an alcoholic... He either gets a tantrum with me or kicks me out.My mom isn't always there to help..." You said."Disgusting worm baby "He responded. You then had tears slip down.You tried to hide it from Zim,but he saw.He took a blanket and wiped your tears away.
" Don't cry...it's OK"He said while hugging you.Your face was to his chest.You wanted to stay like that forever.Surprisingly,zim was still holding you.After a few minutes you fell asleep.Zim took a look at your face.He thought it was kinda.. Cute.A few milometers away from kissing your lips,showing affection.Like the shows Gir watches.
He whispered in your ear and said "I love you (Y/N)....".
You were sleeping with a grin on your face. Zim fell asleep holding you in his arms all this time till you guys wake up.
