Lorenzo and Isabella are playing together in the park. Even though Enzo has started liking the company of Bella but most of the time Young Lorenzo is lost in his own world, spinning around in circles while Isabella is chasing after him, laughing and having a great time.
Lorenzo's stepbrother, Ricci, walks by and sees them playing together. He turns to his mother with a disgusted look on his face.
Ricci: "Why is Lorenzo playing with that girl? She's such a weirdo!"
Mrs Russo: "Because Lorenzo is also a weirdo. They're perfect for each other.We would have to find a way to send him abroad for his studies and get rid of him."
Next morning -
Enzo's came down to the kitchen and his father announces that he will be going abroad for his studies . "Your will be going tonight itself from the private jet. A maid will pack your bags . Just be ready, I don't want any futher discussion on this matter."Enzo did not say anything and returned to his room .
On his way back to his room he finds his stepmother looking at him in disgust for a second and then smirking like she had achieved something big . He ignored her like always although he was well aware of her schemes.
He had no idea why he went to the park that evening maybe to say goodbye to his only friend .
Isabella runs to Lorenzo as soon as she entered the park, Enzo is sitting alone on a bench.
Lorenzo didn't wanted to hurt the young girl who was the only source of light in his dark world but he also didn't wanted her to get attached to him as he will be leaving soon so he said"I don't need you. I don't need anyone. Go away"
Isabella: 'What happened to you enzo? Why are you being so rude?'
Lorenzo was frustrated upon hearing the honest concern in his Bella's voice , "I don't want to be friends with someone like you. Just leave me alone and stop calling me enzo"
Isabella is hurt by his words, but she still tries to persuade him and asks him what happened. Enzo gets angry and yells at her to go away.
Isabella's eyes were full of tears as she get hurt and cry easily even on small matters ,'Fine, I'll leave. But I hope you know that I'll always be here for you, no matter what.'
Lorenzo watches as Isabella walks away, feeling a pang of regret in his heart.
Lorenzo's flight takes off and he leaves the country .He felt like he was leaving an important part of his heart behind...after all he was just a young boy of 13 and leaving his only true friend after hurting her by his words was something that broke him to the heart but he dare not to show how broken he was .
That same night, Young Isabella is walking back home from the park when she is hit by a car. She was lost in crying because of enzo's behaviour so she didn't saw the car coming at her with full speed .She suffers from a severe head injury that causes her to lose her memory.
Isabella recovers and resumes her normal life, not remembering anything about her past. Her parents and brother also didn't mention anything related to Enzo as they thought it will affect her brain condition.
