INT. OLIVIA'S DOWNTOWN APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Standing by the bar, Olivia eyes Derrick with caution.
DERRICK
What was Spencer doing here?
OLIVIA
That's none of your business. Why are you here?
DERRICK
Baby, you know why. To fix things between us.
OLIVIA
(sneers)
There's no fixing things. There is no us. I made that crystal clear.
Derrick moves in closer and Olivia backs away.
DERRICK
Oh, come on. Surely, you're not still upset over our little disagreement. Let's move past this.
OLIVIA
Little disagreement? You can't be serious right now. And after what you did... How could you think I'd ever forgive you?
DERRICK
Olivia, now you know I didn't mean to hurt you. It was an accident.
OLIVIA
(sucks teeth)
Accident... You know what, Derrick. I want you to leave. I want you out of my house right now.
Olivia quickly grabs her phone from the bar.
OLIVIA
Do I need to call the police? Or are you going to leave on your own?
Derrick smugly throws his hands up in defeat.
DERRICK
No need. I'll go. For now.
With force, Derrick pulls Olivia close to him. She winces.
DERRICK
But I'm not giving up. I won't give you up, Olivia. We belong together. You'll see.
INT. OLIVIA'S DOWNTOWN APARTMENT - LIVING ROOM - MORNING
As Olivia makes coffee, she CALLS SPENCER.
MUSIC CUE: "Emotional" - Carl Thomas
INT. MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING - DR'S OFFICE - SAME TIME
Spencer's PHONE RINGS. He immediately hits decline. Seated across from an agitated Spencer, DR. SPEARS takes notes.
DR. SPEARS
... During our last session, you talked about finally coming to terms with the breakup. What's changed? Why does the news of Olivia's engagement upset you?
