Tyler wakes up to the sound of his annoying iPhone alarm. He shuts it off and sits up for a minute. He sighs. He dreads going to school, knowing that the staff members really suck there. He gets up and began getting ready for school. He pulled out his outfit and went to the bathroom.

"Alexa, play My Eyes by Travis Scott." He said to his speaker.

After 45 minutes of showering and getting dressed, he comes out the bathroom. He looks at his phone and sees a text from the group chat with his friends Moses and Victoria.

Mosey: Yo

Vikki: Goodmorning boysss 💕

Tyler: morning gang, heading to the bus stop

Mosey: Ight, heading out the door now

Vikki: I'm at the bus stop, it's kinda creepy rn 🥲

Mosey: If a nigga creep up on u ima beat they ass on gang 😭

Vikki: You'd do that for me?🥲👉🏽👈🏽

Tyler: Y'all should just get married already 😂😂😂

He leaves the house. It was still dark, even though it was only 6. He looks up at the park and sees Victoria.

"Hey Vikki."

"Hey TyTy."

She gives him a hug.

"Where's Moses?" Tyler asked.

"I don't know."

They looked up and sees Moses from down the street. They waved their arms. He immediately ran to them.

"What's good gang?" He daps up Tyler, then hugs Victoria from behind.

"Man, I really don't wanna go to school." Tyler complains.

"Me either bro."

"Guys, did y'all do the homework for History class?" Victoria asked. "You know we have a quiz today."

"Yeah, I literally did it after basketball practice."

"Me and you did it, remember?" Moses laughed.

"You're right, it's too early." Victoria giggled.

"You good."

More people started coming in. The three sat on the swings.

They finally made it to school. The children got off the bus and went through the hallways. Class did not start until 7:15 AM and it was only 6:50. The three sat down at the table together.

"Y'all wanna study until class time?" Victoria asked.

"Yeah let's go, shidd." Moses shrugged.

They opened their textbooks and began studying.

It's 7:05. Their first warning bell began ringing. Moses walked Victoria and Tyler to class, since he's the only one who doesn't have class with them that period. He hugs Victoria, then daps Tyler up.

"Aye ima head to class bro."

"Alright man, see you in 3rd period."

They walked in the classroom and sat at a table.

"Tyler." She started.

"What's up?"

"I think I like Moses."

He looked at her and cracked a smile. He knew she had a crush on him.

"Told him yet?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't know, I'm shy."

"I see."

"Yeah." She frowns.

"Well... he ought to know at some point, or someone else might snatch him up."

"Like Isis." She said silently.

"To be fair, I don't think he sees her in anyway." He shrugs.

"What makes you say that?"

"He's more into good girls."

"Like me?"

"Exactly, plus I don't know if you noticed, but he is kinda flirting with you."

"Really?"

"I can't believe you never noticed."

"You know I'm not good with indirect signs, TyTy."

He chuckled a bit. He suddenly noticed the smell of Burberry perfume. He turns around and sees a brown skin girl walking in the classroom. Her curly hair is tied to a bun. She wore an all Burberry style outfit and boots. She carries a Burberry style purse as well. He looks at her in awe. She looked new.

"Tyler, you okay?" Victoria asked.

"Oh yeah I'm good, sorry the smell of perfume had kinda distracted me a bit."

"Perfume?"

"Yeah don't worry about it."

"Hey is this spot taken?" The girl asked in her strong African accent.

Victoria looks up behind her and sees the new girl.

"Oh no not at all, join us."

"Great thanks."

The girl took at seat right next to Tyler. She smiles when he turns to her.

"Hey, you new here?" Tyler asked.

"Yes, I am new to this country." The girl said. "I'm Tyla."

"Oooh that sounds like your name!"

"What's your name?" Tyla asked.

"I'm Tyler, with an E-R."

Tyla giggles.

"Our names do sound the same." She smiles.

"Imagine being married with kids." Victoria giggled.

"Yoooo our kids' names would sound the same for real!" Tyler blurted.

"Shhhhhhh."

They turned around and sees their teacher eating an apple.

"Sorry, Mr. Spencer." Victoria said silently.

"Just keep it down, Victoria and y'all two." He said softly.

They nodded and turned back to conversing.
