I was sitting on the couch, covered in a long veil as I waited for my husband (it was a ritual that only husband removes the wedding veil,)to remove it, but he was nowhere to be found. After some time, two women approached me—Kirtee, his sister, and Kashish, Ayushman's wife. They sat on either side of me.

"Bhabhi, let's go eat something, and then we'll drop you off at your room," Kirtee said with a giggle.

"You need to eat for energy purposes, especially for the wedding night," Kashish added, joining in the laughter.

Wedding night... The mere thought sent shivers down my spine. What if he tries to force himself on me? I can't even run from this marriage, and my family won't care about it. Tears welled up in my eyes, unnoticed until Kirtee noticed and asked if I was crying.

She pulled me into a hug, comforting me, while Kashish reassured me that they were there for me. Despite my fears, I felt a strong connection with Kirtee. She felt warm and understanding.

"Why are you guys trouble my daughter in law"
Suddenly, a loud voice interrupted our moment—it was his grandfather, DHANANJAY PRATAP SINGH. I immediately got up to touch his feet, but he stopped me, saying, "No daughter of ours touches anyone's feet." He said and patted my head.

"In whatever condition your married to my Grandson, you are now Our Daughter" he said welcoming me warmly.

"It's your home too beta, he smiled and blessed me, first time in my entire life I felt like home somewhere and treated differently, even though I was a replacement they did not tried me ill.

After meeting all the family members and having dinner, Avivansh was still absent. Kirtee escorted me to his room, making sure I was comfortable and explaining how to call for assistance if needed.

Alone in his room, I couldn't help but curse my fate. How did I end up here? Exhausted from the day's events, I rested my head on the headboard and drifted off to sleep, unaware of the passage of time.
