Chapter 11: The Truth

Peyton's P.O.V.

My parents were standing on the porch. Walking up to them I greeted each with a somber hug and went inside. I could hear Ethan and my parents talking but paid to mind to what they were saying. Going into the kitchen I grabbed a glass of water and leaned on the counter waiting for my parents. Within a few minutes my mom and dad and Ethan were there. Mom and dad took a seat at the kitchen table while Ethan walked over next to me and moved me in front of him. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my forehead.

"Tell me everything." I said calmly to my parents.

"Well. As you found out, Ethan is a werewolf. I am a werewolf and so is your father. Unfortunately you are not. The gene must have skipped you for some reason. It is uncommon for that to happen, but other cases have been reported." my mother said looking at me sadly.

"Why didn't you tell me from the beginning? Why keep that a secret?" I asked.

"Because we wanted try and have a normal life and...." I cut my mom off right there.

"I didn't have a normal life! Ever! I had the last thing from a normal life. Throughout my entire school career I was the outcast! I Never had any friends! I got called runt and got treated like an outsider. All this is making sense now" I began to cry. I never brought up the fact that everyone ignored me in school and looked at me with disgust. It was because I was not one of them.

Ethan was right there though this whole ordeal. He kept rubbing calming circles on my stomach as I processed this information.

I pulled myself out of his grip and walked out of the kitchen and headed towards the front door. Opening the front door I stepped out into the cool night. I began to walk, I knew my way around the forest since I had grown up here. I came upon the stream that ran through the northern part of our property. A few miles up river, there was a pond with a gorgeous waterfall. (See picture above.)

When I got to the pond, I found my favorite boulder and sat down. The air was cool and I shivered. Drawing my legs up to my chest I rested my chin on my knees. I heard a snap behind me and within a 5 seconds, Ethan's black wolf had lept onto the boulder beside me and lay down. I looked at the massive creature and it looked back. Bring my legs down and crossing them, the wolf moved its head until I was comfortable and then lay its head in my lap. Sparks shot through my leg, it was an entire new feeling. It was not painful, it was almost pleasurable.

Suddenly there was a yelp and a snarl, smaller light brown wolf went flying into the calm pond. Another yelp came from behind and turning, I saw that there were three wolves sitting on the bank of the pond. All were massive in my opinion, but none were as big as Ethan. There were two identical, dark brown wolves and I assumed them to be the twins. The only difference I saw was that one had two white front paws and the other did not. I didn't even try to tell which one was which. The other wolf was dark grey and built like a tank. I assumed him to be Duke.

The light brown wolf had made its way over to the boulder where we sat and grunting pulled its body out of the water. That must have been Trenton. Walking closer to me he had a twinkle in his eyes. Before I knew what was happening, he began to shake. Water flew everywhere and I started to giggle. Ethan's wolf sat up quickly and stared into my eyes. I stopped and looked into its bright blue eyes. Trenton thought it was a great to come between us and sit in my lap. I laughed while Ethan let out a warning growl. I was being crushed by Trenton and I gasped for breathe because a wolf was crushing me and that the wolf was just a big puppy dog.

There was another growl from Ethan and then the weight was off of me; a second later there was a huge splash. Whirling around, I saw both wolves surface. There was another splash and suddenly one of the twins had been pushed into the pool along with the brothers. Duke nudged the other twin causing him to fall into the water as well. I laughed and sat back, watching the wolves play. I felt a calming presence near me and looked over to see Duke had come to sit on the rock where Ethan was. Sighing I reached out and ran my hand over the soft fur.

I suddenly found myself underneath a softly growling black wolf with. I went wide eyed and tensed up. There was a horrific sound of bones cracking and within a second, Ethan was there in the flesh, looking down at me.

"Don't ever touch another male unless you want to watch their throats get ripped out." Ethan said while nuzzling my neck and making the sparks fly.

"O-o-okay, I am sorry." I said shakily.

"Mmmm good kitten." Ethan said.

I looked down and squealed. Ethan had no clothes on. Wiggling I tried to get free, but that was useless because I was up against a freaking werewolf.

"I would stop moving dear unless you want me to mark you right here." Ethan said leading down and nibbling on my neck.

Looking away I tried to get the dirty thoughts out of my head. Ethan just laughed and got off of me. I covered my eyes as he stood up because of the snake that was inbetween his legs. There were more bones cracking and when I looked, the big black wolf was standing there. I got up and brushed my butt off. The wolf approached me. I held out my hand and the wolf licked it.

I looked around and noticed that the others had gotten out of the water. I let out a yawn and the wolf gently nudged me in the direction of home. I nodded and started to walk back with the wolves at my sides.

I am so so so sorry I have not updated! All your kind comments have helped me get back into writing and I hope to update more frequently! I am sorry about all the mistakes!
