41 Looking for Trouble

With the help of Zou Sheng and Wu Zheng, Shen Yin refroze the body parts to preserve them.

As soon as he left the autopsy room, Zou Sheng let go of his nose, which he had been pinching all this while. He leaned against the wall and gulped. Even in his sorry state, he remembered to give Shen Yin a thumbs up.

She had been busy all morning and her stomach was growling. The moment she smelled the fragrant food, she realized she was extremely hungry.

Meng Heng smiled sweetly when saw that she was willing to eat the food he bought and he poured a cup of hot water for Shen Yin. "Sister, drink some hot water before eating. It's good for your stomach."

"Thank you." Shen Yin took a sip and was about to open the bento box when her cell phone suddenly rang.

She suddenly had a bad feeling when she saw the unfamiliar caller ID. Without thinking, she avoided the two people in the office and walked to the window to answer the call.

"Shen Yin, it's me."

Shen Yin looked blankly out of the window, at the people coming and going from the police station. She knew the voice on the phone all too well. She had once treated her as a close friend, but she was afraid that the enmity between them was about to deepen.

"Yun Shan, what's the matter?"

Yun Shan took a deep breath and blew out a smoke ring. "Shen Yin, I didn't expect you to be so brave. After what happened back then, you still gave birth to that child of unknown origin!"
