Safe and Found

9:00 am-

"MELANIE!" screamed Victoria and Mel C

"What did you have to get me up for." Mel B asked tiredly

"We found the dush bag." Victoria said

"Omigosh... we have to get Emma and Geri up now so we can go kick his ass!" Mel B said  "I'm going to  get the others up." Mel said 

"Emma.. Get up!" Mel B whispered from behind the door. She then went to where Geri was staying to get her up as well. When she knocked on the door and nobody answered, she slowly peeked in and found nobody there. She went back to Emma's room and found Emma and Geri cuddled up together in bed. 

"Good morning ladies." Mel B said "we found the guy. We're going to track him today."

"Morning Mel and great news. I'll be up in a sec" Emma replied

"Im going to get up and jump in the shower real quick before we go." Geri said as she hurriedly rushed to the bathroom.

"Hey Em was Geri ok. How come she was in your bed." Mel B asked curiously

"She came into my room last night at about 2 am crying. She said she had a horrible nightmare about this guy and she was really scared. I said she could stay with me. It was like old times when we would all get scared on the tour bus or those old hotels we would stay at and we would all snuggle together under one blanket. It was nice to have that again." Emma said

"I forgot about that. Lets all watch a movie together like we used to after we get rid of this punk." Mel B said

"Sounds like a plan" Emma said "Geri and I will be downstairs in a minute. We'll meet you girls outside."

"Ok cool." Mel said leaving the room

Mel walked downstairs and met up with Mel C and Victoria who were already ready. 

"You guys, when I went to wake them up. I found Emma and Geri laying together. Geri had a bad nightmare and it just reminded me of how we used to all do that when one of us had a nightmare." Mel B said

"Wow, I forgot about that. Those were the good days." Mel C sighed

"Ok girls we're ready." Geri said as her and Emma walked down the stairs.

"Lets do this! Woohoo!" Mel B yelled enthusiastically. 

****** IN THE CAR*****

"So where does this guy live anyway." Emma asked

"He lives somewhere on West 10th in Finchley" Victoria replied.

"Oh I found the street!" exclaimed Mel C who was in the front.

"Ger, you ready?" Emma asked squeezing her hand

"Um, I guess." Geri replied

"Don't worry, well be right there with you." Mel B said putting her arm around Geri.

Geri let out a nervous breath as the car pulled into the driveway.

"Ok, lets go do this." Geri said nervously

Mel B knocked on the door. She tried again when nobody answered. 

"Are you sure this is his house?" Emma asked 

Just then, a strange man opened the door. Geri turned ghost white and grabbed Emma's hand. 

"It's alright" Emma whispered to Geri "Just stay by me" 

It turns out the guys name is Mike. He demanded the girls to come into the house. They were shocked at how lovely his house was judging from how low of a person he was.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Mike asked

"We want you to leave Geri alone." Mel B said bravely, taking a step towards Mike

"And why the fuck would I do that.?" Mike said, taking a step towards Mel

"Because your a rude bastard who needs to learn to not treat people disrespectfully and not to hurt them." Mel replied

"Do you mean like this?" Mike said giving Mel a good punch in the stomach

Mel B fell to the floor. Victoria rushed to her side. 

"Melanie are you ok?" Victoria asked

"Yeah I'm ok. Just give me a second." Mel said breathlessly

Geri then walked up and slapped Mike in the face. She was steaming

"HOW DARE YOU HURT ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS!" Geri yelled

"HOW DARE YOU SLAP ME IN THE FACE?" Mike yelled slamming Geri into a wall. He went over and punched her in the stomach as well. He grabbed her face attempting to kiss her when Mel C kicked him in the gut. 

Just then a siren wailed and a cop car pulled up to the house. Emma had called the cops right after Mike punched Mel. Two cops ran in and handcuffed Mike. They said that he will be arrested and put in jail for abuse. 

All of the girls (including Mel B, who had recovered) rushed to Geri's side. She was shaking badly and sobbing into her hands. 

"I'm so sorry he did that to you Melanie." Geri sobbed pulling Melanie into her arms.

"Geri don't be sorry." Mel B said as she stroked Geri's hair trying to comfort her. "You know that once anyone says anything about my girl, I have to say something."

"I know I just feel awful for dragging you girls into this mess." Geri said

"Thank god you told us though or else he would have continued to hurt you." Victoria said

"C'mon lets go back to my house and watch a movie. We have had a long morning." Emma said

Back at Emma's house, the girls decided to watch The Notebook. 

Emma grabbed the biggest blanket she could find and all of the girls snuggled together onto Emma's tiny couch. They all wrapped the blanket around themselves and pulled each other close into a hug. 

"I've missed this." Mel C said

"I've missed you girls." Victoria said

"Well at least we know that no matter how far apart we are, no matter what, we will always be here for each other." Emma said

"Thank you girls for helping me today." Geri said 

"Of course" Mel B said "I'll take a punch for you any day." 

The girls laughed and snuggled closer to watch the movie. They knew that they could always count their bandmates for help. Even if they don't get back together as a band, they would always have that special bond that being the Spice Girls created.

I know it was kinda a short story but it was my first one and I wanted to try it out. I will be writing more soon but I hope you liked this one about my favorite band, the Spice Girls
