I walk up the small stairs, hands in my pockets. Waiting for the next train to come around. I gently looked down at my phone, looking at the time. Making sure I was here on time. My head immediately turned when I heard the whistle of the train. For a second, I could hear the steel wheels slamming into the tracks, the smell of the coal.
Soonly the train slowed down, stopping. An enormous group of people rushed out. Luggages, purses, backpacks in hands. The rushing sound of speech erupting the train station.

I waited. Staying still while those walked around me, pushing me. I stayed vigilante as I waited for one. One whom I cared deeply for.

The crowd slowly grew smaller as I waited, the noise becoming quieter. Quiet enough to be a small chatter.

I felt a shiver down my spine as a gust of wind blew towards the train station. Winter was arriving soon..

My eyes fixated on the ground as I fixed my hair. A pair of shoes stood infront of me. My eyes widened, head turning up quickly. Looking at the figure infront of me.
"Its been a while, hasn't it?", A girl's voice said. My dear friend..

She smiled at me, with her eyes having this soft gaze. "Are you going to keep looking at me like that?", she tilted her head, a questioning look on her face.

I smile softly, letting a soft chuckle out. "It's nice to see that face.", I say. Patting her back. "Missed ya.."

"Heh..Who wouldn't?". Her face having this cocky look on it, an expression I knew too well. "C'mon, be a man and take this for me. Will you?", She handed me her luggage. As she started stretching.

I rolled my eyes, annoyed by the fact she already had me doing her bidding. "Long ride?" I asked, leaning over on her luggage.

She looked over her shoulder and smirked. "Indeed. It isn't exactly comfortable to sleep on a train.", She said turning through body fully.

"I see, c'mon", I nudge her with my shoulder. "Let's get going. Ms. Florian will be closing up her shop soon. I'm sure you miss her sweet treats." I said, teasing her a bit. I knew how much she loved baked treats, especially from her favorite baker.

"Oh Levi, You know me soo well!", She smirked at me. She turned and walked towards the stairs of the train station. "Hurry it up now. I can't wait to see Nina!" Her face lighting up as she quickened her pace.

I chuckled as I followed behind her quickly. "Faye, hold on!"

Faye looked over her shoulder and laughed, ignoring my request.
"Oh you..", I grit my teeth with annoyance.

I quickened my pace to catch up with her. As she was infront of me, I chuckled. Gosh, she's so annoying..
She better not take all of Nina's sweets. Just an hour ago, she was already out of her famous treats.
I shook my head, looking up to notice Faye had already left me.
I sighed and turned the corner, only to see Faye stuffing her face with sweet treats. As Nina laughed at her. "You must've been hungry, dear.", Nina said as she hands more treats to Faye. "Go on, Eat, Eat!"

"Ah..I apologize, Mamaie..", I shook my head looking downward. My expression quickly turning into pain, as Nina slapped me hard on my back. Damn..

"Mhpm..Mamaie, These are..so", She gulped the sweet treats in her mouth before speaking again. "So amazing..!" Faye pointed at me, laughing with crumbs on her face.

"Faye. Chew with your mouth closed, its disgusting..", My face full of disgust. Making a gagging noise as a joke, to tease Faye. "Did you even pay for those?"
She has that look on her face..

Her face starting looking like a clueless chipmunk as she started stepping away from the sweet treat's stand. This grown women..
I rolled my eyes, as I started to rub my temple.

"Leave my sweet girl alone. Look at her! It looks like they haven't fed her, shes all skin and bone.", Ms. Florian said as she grabbed Faye. Faye's face looked confused as she had more treats in hands. "Its free for my dears—", Nina had said before I cut her off. "Nina..You barely earn that much, and eating this all for free just wastes the hard work you've put into them. I'll pay for Faye."

"Thank you so much, Evi!", Faye smiled at me softly. I shook my head as I reached for my back pocket, taking out my wallet. "You'll have to pay me back for this..", I smirked at her. Getting out the money, and handing it to Nina.

"Aw, what!,"Faye pouted. Not to happy about the fact she had to pay me back. "You're no fun.."

Nina smiled, taking the money. I put my wallet back into my pocket before turning my attention towards Faye. "C'mon," I nudged her.

Faye quickly followed behind, waving goodbye to Nina.
Her closeness feeling warm. A feeling I hadn't felt since Faye left for her mission across the world. I sigh softly, tilting my head to rest on her head. Faye turned to look up at me and chuckled, "I guess you really did miss me.."

"Of course, I did..", I look around the street to see any other food stands. "Look, let's get frigărui," I pointed to a stand. I watch as Faye's eyes widened, a spark growing. Before I could say anything, she ran over and asked for five frigărui. I laughed at the sight, as she payed and came back.
"Five, really?", I rolled my eyes. She handed me two, while she kept the rest.

"Heh..These are good.!", Faye said as she started stuffing her face. I laughed out loud. I haven't in a while. I'm really happy..

"Hmm," I nudged her pointing at a place we could sit. It was stairs that would lead down the street. Many were already sitting down but as the sun started setting. More and more left. Me and Faye walked over, sitting down on the top of the stairs. Eating our frigărui. Can't lie, these are really good. I had an amused look on my face.

The view infront of us was truly..

It was beautiful. The sunsetting. The view of little kids with their balloons, running around the fountain. And we could see candlesticks lit around the edge of the fountain.  It felt like time had slowed itself down.

....
What's going on? I don't feel like I'm in my mind. I have this aching feeling, this..
The ground its shaking..

I looked up quickly, my eyes widened open. I stood up quickly, pushing Faye out the way as debris came rushing our way.

"Levi!", I could hear her say as she reached her arm out. I got hit by the debris, sending me flying. Hitting the ground hard..
