With bated breath, I slowly opened the book and began to read the captivating story within its pages.

"Mum, listen to me! I have made it to school!" I exclaimed, with a sense of accomplishment. I was ecstatic when I received the letter that would change my whole life. I had been accepted into my dream school, and nothing could be more perfect than this.

But after waiting for a reply from my supposed mother, there was none. I realized once again that I was hallucinating about having a mother. What a life I have!

I am excited, but I am keeping it to myself. I am happy, but also sad because I want her back so badly, yet I don't want her to see the broken soul she left behind.

Tears streamed down my face as I relived the past three years in my mind. The last few years have been the most challenging period of my life without a doubt. The emotions were little by little fading away. Forgot how to feel loved or love, an empty shell they called me

It's hard to tell if I'm genuinely happy about starting school.

What a very heart-wrenching start.

I jolted awake to the incessant beeping of my alarm. Today is the start of the school week, and I am ready to tackle it head-on. I will learn new things, make new connections, and become a better version of myself. Nothing can stop me from achieving my goals, funny right? None of it makes sense.

I lazily got up and did my morning routine. Took me half an hour to get ready and in a blink of an eyes I was at my doors ready to start the 'very awaited day'

I didn't mind the ten-minute walk to school at all. The low, calming music kept me company, making the journey quite enjoyable.

As soon as I stepped foot in the school I knew it was a whole different world. All kinds of students were walking hither and thither, and my social battery immediately ran off.

I walked in as if I had known the place forever. I didn't mention the rules I set for myself while studying here. First and foremost I would MIND my business, since many people don't.

Rule number two is to make zero friends because, in the world of today, there is nothing like real friendship and did I mention how allergenic to FAKE people? Last but definitely not least the boyfriend bullshit is Fuck no to me. My only focus would be on my musical career.

I immediately opened what I supposed to be in my lockers shoved my stuff in and made my way to my first class. Okay so far so clean no dirty looks no pumping into a wall-like chest.

As soon as I entered the class everyone was already sited and their attention immediately shifted towards me, It sent a chill down my spine. I was hoping the teacher would show me where to sit my ass down cause it was too uncomfortable.

"This is the newly transferred student, please introduce yourself," she said with a sweet voice that could melt the heart, not mine for sure. I cleared my throat and; "Hello, I am Eve, to meet y'all," I forced it all out.

Some boos were heard across the room and one of the students said; "well that was boring as f*ck," I clenched my fist and swallowed in all the toxic shit I was about to spit out and sat my ass down on the last bench which seemed peaceful.

The class went by the students clicking and making sounds at the teacher. I wasn't really paying attention to whatever the teacher was saying cause oh my God some girls wouldn't stop boring holes into my soul with their intense stare.

I wasn't in the mood for food so I decided to go to the music room and play violin and enjoy the peaceful sound of the violin. I have always loved playing instruments, after that faithful night my passion for it grew even more.
