Chapter 1

Childe was the prince of Snezhnaya, he was loved by his people because of his beauty and kindness. But little did they know, their prince was gay.

Childe has been secretly together with Zhongli. Zhongli is the prince of Liyue. They've been together for 2 years now, they know that they can't be together since both of them are men. But you can't stop True love can you?

Childe and Zhongli have been hanging out a lot these days which leads to rumors. People have been seeing Zhongli with Childe out exploring and smiling. Yes that's normal and sounds like what friends would do but, Zhongli doesn't smile so much as he does with Childe. Zhongli is usually seen with a grumpy or annoyed face.

Apparently the rumors reach Childe's parents and Zhongli's parents.

Childe's POV
"Mother? You called for me?"

"Yes come in Ajax." She lets me in her office.

There was a brief silence between me and her for a minute.

"Are the rumors true?" She looked at me with a slightly mad tone.

"What rumors Mother?" I asked, looking confused.

"I have heard rumors that you and the prince of Liyue are secretly dating?" I felt my heart slowly sink.

"U-uhm.. whatt?? Pshh!! Me and the prince of Liyue?? Dating?? No way! Haha.." I let out an akward chuckle.

"Ajax. Tell me the truth." She stands up from her chair slightly yelling.

I put my head down. I looked at her and she was looking at me in shock and disgust.

"DO YOU KNOW THAT THIS COULD RUIN OUR REPUTATION!? YOU'RE A DISGRACE! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?" she yelled.

I've never seen my mother so mad before. Before I even knew it, tears were coming out of my eyes.

"I-i..." I couldn't say anything.

"I'm giving you 2 days to break up with him. If you don't, maybe I'll reconsider rebuilding the Guillotine."

I was horrified. I cried and ran out. I went to my room and locked it, I was sobbing uncontrollably. I can't believe it. Why? Why can't I just be a normal person and live a normal life without having to care about my reputation?

I didn't want to break up with him. I love him so much, he was the one who was there for me when I was at my lowest, he was the one who remembered all my important events, he was the reason for my smile.

Maybe it's better to have my head off.

Hii!! I might discontinue my Cynari story, I have no ideas for it. Sorry for not updating a lot, I've been busy with school. We have a dance program tomorrow and I'm RLLY nervous 😭

anyways I'll post Chapter 2 in a day or 2 (Maybe even later hehe) since I'm very busy with school. I'll have my Xmas break soon so I'll try to update more!
