Part 6:Everywhere I go

Vanessa's POV
My alarm went off i stretched my arms and back kaylees couch is getting more and more uncomfortable I went to shower my first shift at hot topic started at 7:30 but I had to be there by 6:50

I got up at 5:00 to shower and do some make up I took a shower changing into my uniform which was just a black collar shirt with my name I put on grey baggish pants and my black zip up keeping my wavy hair down

A couple of my tattoos showing when I took off my jacket I then realized I left my motorcycle at the guys house.fuck it I grabbed my keys from the counter some money and got the bus across town

I still had to walk for a bit thank god the mall and their house isn't far from each other I got off the bus my black messenger bag around my body my helmet in my hand and my keys in the other

I found there house Shit the gate. I took out a Bobby pin from my bag setting my helmet down I grabbed the Bobby pin and jiggled it around till I found the slit that almost every lock had fitting the boddy pin in I turned it the opposite way and boom

The gate was open I moved the gate with a couple groans and annoyed sighs before picking up my helmet putting my bag back on my body

Thankfully my motorcycle was still in the driveway I got on put the key in and turned it on it came to life I reved it to make the engine warm faster I was praying none of the boys woke up

I reversed pulled out of the gate I put the stopper down and closed the gate makeing sure it was closed correctly I drove away and to my first job of the day hot topic

Thankfully I wasn't late "hi im Vanessa" I said with a smile to a guy I was working with "hello Vanessa nice to meet you I'm Kai and normally for morning shift its only going to be me and you" he said I nodded

it had been at least 3 hours since we were open at 7:30 and it was now 8:55 I'm shift ends at 12:00 me and Kai switched between dealing with customers and restocking I had customers right now while he restocked

"Hi welcome to hot topic" I said as some teenagers came in they ignored me and walked to the back to find somethings another guy walked in but I hadn't seen his face "welcome to hot topic" I said

The teenagers came to the counter it turns out they only spoke Spanish and the guy behind them had his head down they were arguing to each other who would attempt to speak English

"I speak Spanish " I said in Spanish one girl spoke  up "oh thank you"she said thanking me I nodded "is this everything for you today?"I asked they nodded

"7.35"I told them they gave me the money and left I looked down fixing the money in the register "Vanessa right?" I looked up to see Colby "oh ya Colby right?"I said

He nodded "Sam was right" I laughed a little grabbing one of his items "about what?" he asked "he said that me and you would get along good he said you come to hot topic a lot and we have the same type of style which I can tell since you wear a suicideboys shirt and I have the same one" I smiled

"Oh ya I guess that right" he said looking down at his shirt he was wearing grey ripped baggy pants his eyes looked me up and down as he scaned my arm tattoos but said nothing I laughed a little "is that it for today?" I asked

"Ya that's a stupid question not going to lie" he said with a smile "ya I know but we have to asked that even though I'm pretty sure if people wanted more stuff they would have got it"I said returning the smile

He nodded" bye nessa" he waved goodbye "bye beanie" I said it felt natural and he just bought like ten beanies thankfully after a lot more customers and restocking 12:00 came around an the afternoon people came we switched
