Chapter 45

"I am from the Grand Line"

The bird cawed loudly before ruffling its feathers, the waves crashed onto the shore as Labbon moved around while the crew continued staring at (Y/n) in shock making her confused 

"Did you really think I was from the East Blue...?" She finally asked with a confused smile 

"W-W-Well, all the signs were there!" Usopp defended himself "Why wouldn't you be from the East Blue?!" 

"You guys are real idiots" Nami shook her head "Um, Sanji?" 

Turning to look at the blonde, (Y/n) looked startled as he stared at her. His jaw dropped to the ground and a blush slowly formed. (Y/n) didn't know what he was thinking of at the moment but he still looked a tiny bit shocked by her origin 

"Oh, calm down" Usopp rolled his eyes and slapped the back of Sanji's head "Not a big deal"

"You were freaking out a moment ago" Nami sweat dropped at the Sniper who gasped in disbelief 

"Eh, who cares" Luffy sighed and leaned back in his seat, belly big after eating the whole fish in one go "As long as she's my Quartermaster — I don't care" He shrugged while using the fishes bone as a toothpick 

"I guess you're right" Sanji let out a sigh as he straightened up "But-" He paused and kicked Usopp straight in the back 

"Aoh—" 

"-It's still surprising" Sanji finished after placing a cigarette in his mouth, he then slowly turned to look at Luffy only for his eyes to widen "Did you eat this all by yourself?!" 

"Whoa!" Usopp's eyes fell out of his head as he looked at the table "Even the bones are gone!" 

"Back to business while those kids play" Nami rolled her eyes and turned to (Y/n) and Crocous "This is the Log Pose... How exactly does it work?" She asked while turning to the (H/c)

"I honestly don't know much of the technical stuff" The ex-Marine shrugged "But what I do know it's that it connects to the magnetic field of the island, then it forms a path to the Red Line and then to the One Piece" 

"She's right" Crocus nodded "At first, you can pick one out of the seven magnetism produced by Reverse Mountain, but no matter which island you start with those magnetisms will eventually pull against each other and link themselves to one route" Crocus took in a deep breath, trying to ignore the shouting from the Cook, the Sniper, and the Captain "And the name of the island at the end of the route is... Raftel"

"Yet some people call it, Laugh Tale" (Y/n) pointed out as Nami looked between the two with wide-open eyes, so much knowledge being thrown on her took a moment to process "I'm not sure of the reason but I think it's because Roger laughed? Who knows..." She shrugged 

"Roger, King of the Pirates" Crocus confirmed with a nod, a sigh escaped his lips making him look almost sad for a moment as he uttered the name "But no one has been able to reach that last island since Gol D. Roger"

"Then we'll be the first" Luffy smirked 

"Second, you idiot" Sanji rolled his eyes 

"Well, I'm full now!" The Strawhat cheered as he let out a content exhale while patting his stomach "Shall we get ready?" 

"Of course you're full, you ate everybody's meal!" Sanji screamed in disbelief 

"Well then this Log Pose is very important" Nami mumbled as she looked at the object in her hand "We'll have to take good care of it" She smiled fondly "This is the key to reaching Raftel"
